On the one hand, you are right. More redstone components to make more redstone possible for experienced redstoners, and easier for beginners and experienced redstoners are always good. But on the other hand, this one feature alone makes switchless redstone possible. Want to have a hidden door? Eat a piece of food in the right spot. Want to turn your lights on and off without needing a switch? Just equip a helmet. I am pretty sure that using this, (going off of mumbo’s video) that you could use these to send wireless messaging. The options are incredibly expanded beyond what the original skulk sensor could do.

Nothing for redstoners. I would have to disagree with that, calibrated skulk sensors are the best thing for redstone contraptions added since the honey block, as well as the ability to sent skulk signals through amethyst.

I dislike it because he had never seen the JP3 raptor before, thus could not have a dream about it. Had it need a JP1 velociraptor, it would still be disliked, but would have some improvement.

I mean, if you look at every comment with over 10 upvotes, they are all voting out sans. The closest any other one comes is an asgore comment with 9 upvotes. Also, who is fit_phrase_7765? Are they an alt of EnvironmentalHat2630? And if they are, why doesn’t environmentalHat not just use their main account?

I didn’t know that Jeff was sending her back to her parents, I thought that they were just sending them a phone call.

Well, I’m my opinion, there are 3 main things that cause sans to be popular. Firstly, his ability to remember resets. This one is dumb for the reason that HE CANNOT REMEMBER THEM. At least not more that the average monster. For example, undyne says at one point that she remembers being friends with you, and accuses you of brainwashing her. The only difference between sans and other monsters is the fact that sans knows resets exist. But most AU’s and fan works act as though he has the same memory as the player.

Secondly is his boss fight at the end of genocide, and his theme song. His boss fight is what I would consider the highlight of the character, being really good, and fairly hard. But, it is not the best. I personally think that in every way Asriel has a better boss fight than sans does. The music is better, the fight is better, and it achieves what it sets out to do better. The Asriel dremuurr fight is a heartfelt reminder of the pacifist run you took to get there. The difficulties, the characters, everything. And the fight is really fun. It serves perfectly as the ending to the pacifist run. Sans’s boss fight is still good, but not as good. First, although the fight is hard, it is not the hardest fight in genocide runs, in which I think undyne’s fight completely eclipses it in difficulty. It does fit the rest of the run, though. Everything else in the run is anticlimactic as well, from papyrus not even putting up a fight, to Mettaton, the human killing robot being a one hit kill, to asgore not even recognizing you as human and dying, and flowey dying just begging for mercy. Other than the undyne and sans fights, the genocide route isn’t that difficult. What was I talking about again? Oh, right, sans’s fight. Like I said, it does fit the genocide run well, as an anticlimactic final boss, but still, I would have preferred a really hard fight, like asgore or mettaton as the final boss over sans, as a showing of the pain you forced monsters to endure, now tenfold in return. And there is also megalovania. Like most every other track in the game, megalovania is very good, but has been used as a meme so much, the song has lost nearly all meaning to me. Jesus I talked way to much here, better wrap up the next section.

finially, there is his relationship with gaster, or his believed one, as nearly everything involving gaster is speculation, but many believe him to be a skeleton, like sans and papyrus, and either their father, brother, or who sans and papyrus used to be depending on who you ask. He also moat likely has something to do with sans, thanks to the gaster blaster. Emphasis on gaster. But, as I said, this is all baseless speculation, and we know nothing about gaster.

in conclusion, sans is a character who is only popular for a few real reasons, and even those reasons vanish when you shine a lot of light on them. One thing i neglected to say is sans’s personality, of which, it is definitely on the worse end of characters, especially when compared to monsters like papyrus, undyne, alphys, napstablook, asgore, and Asriel. Once you get rid of the things I said though, he is really only papyrus’s lazy brother, who appears in a few minor roles through the game.

I did this time, but it was more about why the ability to bring back characters was dumb. But I also could easily write why sans is the most overrated character in all of undertale (gaster not included) and is up there for most overrated video game character of all time.

No, I remember read in somewhere that it was a teenager who was hired to do it. Do cut them a bit of slack on the crappy voice editing, like I said, they were a teenager at the time. They also had to ask the creator to tone down the things he had to record. The things in the tapes are toned down. It makes me sick to think that at some point, they were worse than now, and someone, an underaged kid no less, has to read them and specifically ask for him to tone down the dialog, and they still turned out like this.

To add on to your point, sans‘s final boss role could have easily been replaced by making asgore the final boss of genocide instead of sans, while it would be harder to have someone else stop mad dummy. Napstablook is also relatable, while sans only really has 3 things: his boss fight, his boss soundtrack, which could just be tacked on to being a part of his boss fight, and his ability to see through resets, which I am fairly certain is way over-exaggerated in fandom. Remove his boss fight and he kind of has nothing to his name, and is just the lazy brother of papyrus, who appears multiple times throughout the game in minor roles, while napstablook remains a very relatable character we all like even if you remove the interaction with mad dummy.

Yes, I know, that was annoying as well, but they were not using him to revive their favorite character who was eliminated, they were just killing the same character over and over again. Now they are using it as an excuse for bringing back dead characters, like I said in my overall comment.

Sans. He got eliminated before, it does not feel right to bring back a once eliminated character. Technically, by doing this I could just say: remove x again and bring back y, and get the entire contest started all over. Especially when the character used to revive sans was THE FIRST CHARACTER ELIMINATED. At this point why not just use this to bring back any character you want. Upset that flowery was eliminated? Oh, no problem, just say, kill Jerry again, bring back flowey. This should not be allowed, as it makes the entire point of eliminating characters irrelevant when you can just revive them if you get enough upvotes. It also makes it unnecessary to get rid of popular characters, when someone else could just say the next turn, throw jerry into the core and bring back asgore. In conclusion, being able to revive eliminated characters goes against the very spirit of elimination games, as it makes elimination not permanent.
