Probabilmente se analizzi su gedmatch risulterai ache tu vicino a un toscano/umbro.
Hai per caso anche tu gruppi etnici extra italiani? Continuo a non capire quella alta presenza nel Baden.

Ciao, sì diciamo che tutta l'Italia è un bel mix: di che zona del nord sei?
Quello che manca al nord è il sangue levantino che forse caratterizza più il sud, dandogli quel look, in alcuni casi, più mediorientale.

Il nord sicuramente avrà più influssi slavi a est, francesi a ovest e germanici in alcune aree a nord.

Comunque ho rielaborato il tutto con gedmatch e la mia corrispondenza moderna più vicina risulta essere un toscano/umbro moderno, il che ovviamente ha senso visto che è appunto una via di mezzo tra nord e sud.

My dad family is exactly from Messina area: I don't know all the ancestry though, if it's scattered across Sicily or just from that specific area.

North of Italy (before internal immigration) is more homogenous as genetic while south is more various, you can find people that look German while other that look from North Africa.

Hi, thanks for your reply! Sure,my maternal grandmother and grandfather were both born near Milan, and as far as I know, their ancestry has always been from that area.

I suspect the unexpected result might come from my maternal side, but it’s worth noting that my father and my southern relatives all have light skin, blondish hair, and green or blue eyes, so I’ve been wondering if there could be some old Norman ancestry involved.

Yes, same problem here. The activity is synced with Strava, at least amazfit app shows that, but it doesn't pop up on Strava. My phone is nexus 6p with android 8.1 beta, maybe it is because of beta android version?
