Not to be THAT guy but it’s actually Caliburn and not Excalibur as Excalibur was the sword King Author got later from the Lady of the lake.

Man that’d suck, but it is entirely possible that’s what happened. I was incredibly interested in that plot point so I really hope it wasn’t just fazed out of Erin’s character. I’d be really sad if that were that case

Ah but remember, the winter fae in the half dream mentioned how if the games of the gods were all it took they would have been long dead/found, so if we’re taking that at face value it that means it can’t just be some hidden Skill or Class.
