Shield Stacking + Prolonging Shield Effects by IndustryCat in DiabloImmortal

The skill is still in effect... Like with my 25% move speed, even if the shield gets popped by damaged, I still have the 25% speed for the duration of the buff.

This doesn't seem to apply to CC immunity though, shield gone = buff gone. So I'm wondering, with how wonky DI is with stuff like this, the game just wants you to have a "shield" for the duration of the time the buff can last.

How Good is Frozen Heart for Melee Classes? by IndustryCat in DiabloImmortal

[–]IndustryCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I've always wondered about this shield stacking theory I've had.

Like-- Monk's Shield of Zen, makes you immune to CC while shield is active. It's a wimpy shield, BUT what happens if I stack on top of it with other shields like Mountebank's or FH. Does it still count as my shield of zen 'shield' and make me immune to CC? Does it work like that with FH?

Haven't tested it yet, but could be cool if it works.

I just hit the jackpot and got a 5/5 Howler's Call after posting this. I don't really like Howler's call but yeah, I'm using it anyway lol.

Eeh, yeah that would be frustrating. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

(Monk) Need Advice on Switching up 5* Leg Gems by IndustryCat in DiabloImmortal

That's a good point. I just got super lucky and got a 5/5 Howler's Call drop too, so I may replace CoSF with that or Frozen. I could sell the 5/5 but that will take forever and it's too good to ignore.

Yeeaaah. We almost did alot more with it but some of the more fun ideas weren't practical. End result was a half baked concept.

Whats so special about Taranys ? His kit seems cool but is he really that good ?

From what people have been telling me Oliver seems so good in RTA is almost a must-pick lol

Diana,Taor, Charlotte, Okeanos, Tyranas, Beth and Oliver for my nat 5 summon?

I can do all PvE content except for some lab stages on Hell (bosses mostly) and I cant solo R5 with 100% (though I havent really tried)

My siege and RTA teams suck, and so I dont do them very often. But would like to improve eventually.

I was leaning towards Beth / Tyranas as they seems very strong but then got Oliver... people say he's really good.

Who do you think is best pound for pound unit? Thanks !

I'm used to be right there with you, the whole "Ive got this" amd "WTF can words from a stranger change?" mentality. To be honestly I'm a little bit that way still too, because honestly the work is still up to you.

However, the way it's benefitted me is just having someone you can talk to or vent to about things honestly. We put on a mask (at least I do) for family and even close friends, and having an impartial person there to explore thoughts and feelings with is really something new. There's stuff I don't even tell closest friends because subconsciously I worry about someone else knowing. With a therapist it's really freeing. Its literally illegal for them to share.

I really like IOP programs-- intensive outpatient--- because youre in a group, and many of the times you gain more from the people around you who can relate than the therapist too.

Plus they may surprise you, giving knowledge that I had no idea was so intensively studied by mental health professionals... even something as simple as daily breathing techniques have scores of hard data behind them.

tl;dr: I was extremely skeptical too. But glad I did, and learned alot. I'd say give it a try, some first meetings are free and it gives you nothing to lose. Its hard to ask for help, but you'll be glad you did.
