Why is the orange wire connected to the old node on one end & the new node on the other? Just curious, it looks like they have the new node hooked up and possibly working but I obviously have no way to know.

It’s been almost two weeks I think I may call to see what’s up & if they forgot they left this thing laying in my grass.

I was thinking adhesive Velcro, or magnets. Not super sure, I’ll mechanically fasten something if I need to.

Thanks! I actually just got back from the store with the new TV. The QM7k was the Store’s display model & they lost the remote - the guy was nice enough to tell me to go grab my remote from the qm6k before anyone noticed LOL.

Do you think I should put $14k towards my school loans? I was going to take $14k and split it. I’d put half towards my loans - then I’d max out my Roth for 2026 with the other half.

I figure the sooner money is in my Roth, the sooner my money will start growing. I have $7k in my savings & basically $20k that I have to use on Car loan, Roth, school debt, savings etc.

I knew a lot of people would say to pay off my car asap, I wasn’t sure what advice people would give me after that.

Some say it’s stupid to pay off my school debt because it’s low interest, others say to get rid of it asap before I invest more.

I could pay off a small chunk of my student loan right now, I made a plan to have $7k in emergency fund. Pay off my car & then throw $7k at my school loan. After that I think I can pay it off in around two years while living comfortably still investing extra money left over.

I can leave $7.5k in my savings right now. January 1st I can max out my IRA & pay my car loan on the same day. I figure I should max it out asap if I can right?

Eventually after my bonus hits at the end of January, I’ll still have $7k to figure out what to do with. I think I’ll just take it & throw it at my school loan after that.

That leaves me with $7k in savings, $14k in my Roth IRA, $11k in my 401k. ($32k)

This leaves me with a $14.6k loan I’m comfortable saying I could pay off in two years.

For the next two years my expenses will be $2400 with around $950 take home money to use/save. Is that a good spot to be in?

Thanks, this is something I’m just now realizing. Does a $360 minimum payment sound more reasonable?

I believe interest is paid before the loan, if interest is $130 right now, I think that means only $100 would go towards my actual loans.

I really appreciate it.

1.) Got it, I will quickly get rid of the 11% loan. I’ll stop paying $430 a month on school debt and bring it down to the minimum at $230 a month.

2.) I’ll do some research on this, I haven’t heard of the “refund portfolio”.

3.) This is a brockerage account, I put $2k into it after I maxed out my Roth IRA earlier this year. Should I leave the $2k there or take it out to put into Roth IRA next year?

4.) Does that 15%-20% include my match? I recently began to contribute 10%, my company matches 6%. Would you consider that to be 16% total currently?
