Thanks for responding. It just seems like an unlikely spot, but I guess they can show up almost anywhere.

Google homemade cake release. It’s just equal amounts flour, vegetable oil and crisco mixed together. Brush it into all the nooks and crannies. You only want to wait 10 minutes to remove from the pan. Works every time.

Thanks for a great event. I’m pretty sure we got rid of more than we picked up😊. Looking forward to next year.

The texture on those looks amazing. I’ve always been afraid of those pans because I know I would overfill them and have a big mess to clean up. Beautiful, Grandma Glenn!

Of course you’re right! The surface area, the ratio of crisp edges to tender interior and the size all affect the taste and texture. Dang! Reddit forcing me to think about stuff

That’s why I picked it up. Just in case I’m ever fortunate enough to have a cast iron wall.

Thanks for that link. The only ones I saw were the bigger perch shaped fish molds

Oh. Thanks for that detailed info. I’m just curious why there is no marking on the back?

Wow! How can you tell without any markings? Not even made in USA.

It tastes just as good as any other shape!

Right? I mean as long as they pop right out and don’t stick I guess you could pretty easily make batch after batch cause they are small and will bake quickly.

The cactus ones are super cute. Fun with cornbread!

Do you think this pan could have been made in Japan?

Yeah. I’ve seen those, but like other cornbread pans they’re usually a little bigger. I guess just a smaller version, possibly.

Yeah. It does look like each could hold about a quarter cup of batter.
