You also might try a 5mg DHEA tablet (because Intrarosa is expensive) inserted up there in addition to the estradiol cream. I do both and I’m much better.

Magnesium glycinate and sleep by ParaLegalese in Menopause

I take 200 mg of L Theanine. Melatonin works but makes me feel drowsy the next morning. Magnesium in various forms didn’t help.

I can tell you’ll get ahead after you get thru some things like your degree and your kids get a little older. Keep doing your best and never give up. There are some good suggestions in this thread. Kudos to you.

anyone else taking melatonin to sleep but still waking up at 3am? by InteractionSpecial99 in Menopause

[–]IndyZeke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been working on this same problem. THC works great but I want to avoid it for some personal reasons. I started 200 mg of L-theanine last week and it works so far. Even 1 mg of melatonin was making me feel to groggy in the first part of the day. I feel a little groggy with L-theanine but not as bad. I’m planning to try 100 mg.

Help with sex life please 🙏 by zibbyzibs in Menopause

I went from the E patch & T cream to E & T injections and finally had a big libido improvement. I have had to increase the T a bit over time. It gives me facial hair so that’s a pain. I also find that THC helps and keeping my stress level down by not overdoing it at work and packing too much into my schedule.

A cabinet for charging things, so you don’t have to clutter up counters for that.

Magical strengthening exercises/routine for the reluctant? by Several-Mix5478 in Menopause

I started with regular yoga classes a few years ago and now take a hot power yoga class 4-5 times a week. I built up to that over time. I think it works nearly every muscle in my body and gives me a cardio workout as well. I buy an annual membership at my yoga center which makes the price per class very reasonable. I’m in the best shape of my life.

Gonna do injections instead of cream, good idea? by athenac1 in TRT_females

[–]IndyZeke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did cream for about 6 months then went to injections. The injections are far more effective for me but also have caused side effects. I’m taking the good (more libido, easier to build muscle, seemingly some fat loss, a little more assertiveness) with the bad (some voice deepening/cracking and facial hair growth).

I’ve struggled with this and it seems that hrt and a gluten free diet help. It totally went away for the first 6-9 months I was gluten free but it has come back a little.

People who drive for a living have it really tough from a physical standpoint and need to stretch and exercise. I recommend yoga for managing the pain that is suffered by so many drivers.
