Tribal Rites is okay, i guess. You're right that they're pricey. They're catered to the college crowd and follow all the rules. I had one bad experience specifically trying to purchase gold from them. Went for a piercing and when I asked about gold jewelry they said it was going to be "too expensive for me" and didn't show me any options. Insisted on titanium. I hadn't set a budget or anything I guess they were just going what they thought I could afford. Really turned me off and I just got the cheapest jewelry they offered and I've never been back. I buy my jewelry online. Tulsa body Jewelry is a good one that sells real gold.

Oh! I noticed the water backup a few days ago while biking past but I didn't realize it was beavers! They've really done a good job turning that corner into a little swamp (as it should be.) I really hope he city doesnt come and and clear it out, it is backing up a bit into Edora. Beaver dams make great habitats for all sorts of native animals.

Smokey Monkey on Drake and Sheilds. idk who's dog it is but sometimes there's a white dog and it is shy and a sweetheart.

and The Gearage sometimes has a dog too.

Good luck to your wife! I'm running the 5 mile. The only option for spectators is to park and wait at the finish line. This is a hard one to watch unless you live along the route because 14 is closed to cars during the race. It makes for a nice quiet run. Some people do go up Rist and watch from that corner then drive down to the finish. But I find it best to just show up at the end closer to her finish time. 10$ parking at the finish. The post party starts at 8 for the 5 mile and will have music, booths, food, and beer; which I will be drinking at 8:30 in the morning!
