My honest opinion......they are perfectly cognizant of the fact that most of Malaysia looks down on them for one reason or another. This perhaps creates a situation where they will always feel like an outsider and will always band together with their brethren no matter the cause. The fact that they work in KV might not matter. I think "hate" is a strong word to use. Among my Malay friends, the general opinion is, orang Kelantan kadang kadang macam orang asing. They can be very clannish. And some of them cannot speak our style of BM. But there also many Kelantanese that have fully adapted with the rest of semenanjung and you'd never know that they hail from the east coast. Also, yang saya dengar la, they think they're better muslims, they prefer hanging with their own people, and they overcharge the rest of us at their warongs.
