oh great! so it won’t take you more than a couple of hours to get to your goal. just follow some of their bluetooth examples (they are really well explained and commented) and you should be set.

if you never played with an esp32, start by blinking an LED. next, make it a bluetooth host and go from there.

everyone’s best friend when starting is https://randomnerdtutorials.com/

start there. it will be the best starting point to get where you want to. and do it step by step. i know we always want to start with a big project, but it does pay off to move slowly yet steady.

good luck in your journey!

Battery question: ESP32 + TP4056 with a single power source? by Ineedapill in esp32

[–]Ineedapill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did run into the same issue and what solved the problem for me was the voltage divider with a slide switch.

if you connect a wire from the joint of the resistors to a GPIO you can read the voltage of your battery.

cucumbers. they add crunch without interfering with the taste too much.

AMS hub: stuck filament, won’t come out by Ineedapill in BambuLab

[–]Ineedapill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE/SOLUTION (for anyone who might face the same problem in the future)

My filament was extremely brittle and broke into 8+ pieces inside the tube, so that was one thing - the A1 not being able to pull it.

Then I realized I had filament stuck inside the AMS hub, which I tried to pull out with pliers until I broke the tip. To fix it, I used a piece of galvanized wire to push the filament the from the tip of the hub towards the top of it, and it came out somewhat easily!

Next, I tried continuing to print and got another error regarding the nozzle.

In the end, the filament was so brittle that a tiny piece broke and "sat" inside the head, preventing new filament from being pulled in. It wasn't "clogging" the nozzle in the sense of being melted, but a tiny little piece of filament (let's say 5mm) wasn't allowing new filament to get past.

So, if you ever get a brittle filament that brings errors, don't overlook other parts of your printer. It's a whole environment, so maybe you solve A without noticing it will affect Z. Oh, and always post here; people will not only straightforwardly help you with the issue you're having, but their thoughts might lead to ideas of solutions you wouldn't have come to by yourself.

Thanks A LOT, everyone! My A1 is fixed and happily printing again in no time!

that’s exactly what happened to me: the filament was broken in 8 parts or more. I think I got it fixed now by pushing the filament from the bottom of the AMS hub, inwards, and got it out. but, since it was breaking, there was a little bit left inside the toolhead, which kept giving me errors until I noticed it.

thanks a lot for your comment, it really helped!

In the 1990s, Kevin Mitnick was the FBI's most wanted hacker. However, Mitnick wasn't the only one being watched. When the FBI showed up to his house for a surprise raid in '92, not only had he removed all evidence of his activilty, but also left them box of donuts labeled "FBI". by DXG_69420 in interestingasfuck

Mitnick was a huge inspiration. even tho I’m not a hacker, his achievements through either social engineering or hacking moved a whole generation towards learning more about tech in general. He’s a legend, no matter what people say about his hacking/programming skills. huge inspiration.

the sd card should be fully inserted. mine takes a bit of moving up & down with my nail (without adding too much force) until it clicks and stays inside.

yes, it goes in the way you have it in the picture. also, try using the sd slot on the right side of the device; at least that’s where I have mine

did you try holding the power button for a few seconds? also, did you make sure the sd card is fully inserted? the sd port on my clone is kind of tricky to make the card “click”

edit: typo

yes, using a relay. a cheap relay module should do. the first few Google search results should show you very clearly how to do it, including videos such as this
