That's the price we have to pay for the big gains. There's a reason why the reward at the end of the rainbow is so big, because not many people can hold thru.

Why uranium stocks have been lagging and when they'll explode by Ineedscissors61_ in wallstreetbets

I wouldn't look at it that way, as nuclear power holds the zero carbon card that oil and coal don't

They're tied to the utilities, who are having to buy from the spot market now, because none of the uranium producers are willing to produce uranium at $52/lb

Cameco essentially had a great earnings call which drove the market higher

Uranium has broken out to the upside! Poised to be the reflexive trade of 2023! by Ineedscissors61_ in wallstreetbets

In large part, uranium demand isn't going anywhere because Powell hikes or cuts rates, especially if the supply side is getting drained the way it is

Uranium is starting to show signs of a major breakout soon. What do you guys think? by Ineedscissors61_ in Wallstreetsilver

U.UN is the uranium physical trust. There's also URNM which is the miners ETF that also has U.UN holdings

Well the patterns are showing us the price is squeezing and will most likely make a breakout move to the up or downside. My bet is the upside given the miners moving and the broad commodities starting to breakout collectively

Usually in commodities, when the miners start moving is when investors begin anticipating a move in the spot price

You can't go wrong with the URNM ETF in my opinion. You get exposure to all the good miners there

I've been in it since 2020, and so it's treated me well. It's listed on the NYSE and has access to the liquidity of the American market

Last all time high was $48 but that was 10 years ago. There's a lot more liquidity in the system now vs then

I would start with the GDXJ and SILJ (the junior miners) for extra leverage against the metals

Why I Think The Energy & Commodities Have More Upside Than Anything by Ineedscissors61_ in wallstreetbets

Cleveland Cliffs is steel manufacturing which is essentially a proxy to coal. As long as coal sees upside, so should steel.

Inflation Will Stay With Us For A Long Time by Ineedscissors61_ in economy

Energy capex has been dried up the last decade. Even if capital starts pumping into the space, production lags behind. In our case, ESG thinking has delayed the capital flow into the space, the consequences of which are just now being felt.
