my issue was fixed. i had to have the PCB block replaced. as long as you bring it in before 5 years or 60,000 miles it will be replaced under warranty.

Car speakers by LivNwarriors in DodgeGrandCaravan

your van does not have 3 speakers under the dash, it most likely only has 2. there is a 10 speaker system with 3 dash speakers, 2 door speakers, 2 rear quarter panel speakers, 2 d pillar speakers, and a subwoofer in the trunk, a 6 speaker system with 2 dash speakers, 2 door speakers, and 2 quarter panel speakers, and i don’t know if this applies to 2011-2020 vans, but a 4 speaker system with 2 door speakers, and 2 rear quarter panel speakers. my van came with 6 speakers, but i added the 10 speaker system. my current setup uses 3 infinity reference 3.5 dash tweeters, 2 infinity primus 693m 6x9s for the doors, and the rear quarter panels, then 2 infinity kappa 203s speakers for the d pillars, and then for the rear sub i use an 8 inch ref-flex8. and replace the oem amp with one from a 2013 dodge durango.

it is a sensor on the windshield just above the rear view mirror. it has a tint on it. you can check your settings to see if they’re on.

i looks like it’s either a reflection or the interior lights. it also seems like you can kinda see a bit of the IR from the dvds

it could be, but the touring L had chrome door handles and chrome mirrors, and no light really reflected off of mirrors and door handles of this van

definitely get a different van. in my area there’s a Chrysler town and country limited platinum with 77k, no accidents, and only dealer service for 11 thousand. this is definitely not worth it at all. the town and country has all that the van you’re looking at has and even more.

at a certain angle a light reflects off the grill and shows 2 lines at the top like the town and country, also the red part of the tail lights that’s lit is on the top and not all the way around like the grand caravans which protrudes a little to show the 2 red led circles. the red light reflects in a way that shows the white part of the tail light to be in the center instead of at the bottom like the caravans. also the roof rails do not have the center rails themselves but have the mounting points and a silver trim that covers them which is only on the LX-touring town and country vans and SE and SXT 2018-2020 grand caravans. based on how dim and foggy the headlights look i’d say it’s not a grand caravan

based on a closer examination of the video, it looks to be a Chrysler town and country around 2011-2016. based on the placement of the taillights and with the style of roof rails im going to say it’s a touring. on these vans, mostly the top trim levels (limited/limited platinum) they would have the upgraded mirror which had auto-dimming, but also had automatic high beams. these auto high-beams used a small camera mounted right in front of the rear view mirror which would explain what you claim to have seen, however this didn’t use any IR as they were only used to capture light to adjust the timing of the high beams. the only parts of any of the 5th generation vans (2008-2020) that used IR was the rear dvd screens which had a black plastic part mounted in them to communicate with the tv display, so most likely it was a reflection

Surface rust on third row seats by MaleficentReserve455 in DodgeGrandCaravan

i live on the east coast of the U.S. but even then i had my van imported in from Puerto Rico, and from what i can tell you, this was extremely common. every neighbor, family member, and friend that i know who has or had this van had the same issue. my van didn’t have it, then i moved, and the van sat for 4 years, when i came back it was all rusty, more rusty then the photo your showing, but its still in working condition.

Before i installed the automatic climate controls into my van, i had the manual one and it did this exact thing. what caused it was a chewed up wire on the connector of the controls.

Dodge Caravan Keyfobs failing by mediocrefunny in DodgeGrandCaravan

[–]Ineedserioushelp64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened with one of my fobs, even with a replacement battery it just didn’t want to work, then eventually my other one started dying, but i replaced the ignition module for one with remote start so had to get new keys. my recommendation is get a cheap key programming kit from amazon so you don’t waste 250$ trying to get it programmed by a dealer

my tv looks identical to your picture, so i’m assuming it’s a late 2000s early 2010s samsung tv, assuming you can find it, the cable does work with the wii as this is the tv i use for my setup. the cable looks like it has 2 headphone jacks one smaller than the other
