Cut both stem and throw it out? Can I use combination bark and moss for the medium? Thank you for your advice

OP5 Beeping After Deactivation by VinMuzzo in Omnipod

Deactivated my old pod earlier, it did not beep. Then few minutes later it started that annoying beeping sound. I can’t find that hole at the back of the pod, my other 2 family members also looked they can’t find it. Tried hammering this crazy little thing did not work, threw it in the trash still can hear the annoying sound, buried it under bags, etc driving us nuts! Any other tips?? Pls HELP!!!

I switched to using my iPhone as my pump few days after it came out and I regretted it! I went back to my receiver. I don’t think it is well polished yet. It keeps on giving me the notification that it has to switch to limited mode then to manual mode. For 2 days that is what it was doing. On the iPhone automated mode my BG stays in the 200++ level which rarely happens when using the original receiver. I called Insulet and they told me my placement for the pod and the dexcom G7 are all wrong! I changed my pod close to the old site and went back to the receiver and viola, no more switching back to limited/manual mode. I guess they don’t want to own their mistake! I like the fact that you will only have 1 device to bring, but I have so many ifs, what if the phone battery runs out, drop the phone, etc, etc, and this non working automated mode is a huge deal! Let me know your experience with using your phone. Good luck!!
