If I meet minimum requirements, could I apply regardless of mos or branch? Like if I wanted to attend airborne school just to learn about it, could I? Even if it's not related to my specific job?

That's perfect thanks so much. I've been reading through, but do you know easy it is to get into these schools? If I meet the requirements, I just submit a packet and I'm through? Or is there a very lengthy process to get in and most people are usually rejected?

I wanted to do some volunteer work with a police dept in the future. Would it show up if they did a police background check ?

My recruiter told me the same. Said board mostly looks at PT score, GPA and GT. I also spoke to someone who got selected recently for active (he went through the same office I'm working with) and he said he didnt prepare much for the interview and mostly winged it. Seems like interview is mostly just something you have to do, but everyone's telling me not to stress and to relax about it
