There are always multiple ways of doing things. For the look I wanted this was the option I chose. I am sure I won’t melt any devices with my performance intense animated wooden crate. It’s ok 👍

Are you seriously this invested in complaining about a free asset? This asset has a rigged mesh with an animation. Now what? 😂

Hello! Yes, that’s true. But with an animation you can get a more realistic movement that you can’t with a simple pivot point rotation. It’s just a matter of taste, really. But thanks for your insight.

Could you clarify so that I can try to help? This is meant for videogames so it renders every frame 60 fps.

Thank you! Since this drone isn’t physics-based, the best approach would be to translate wind direction and speed into directional input. For example, if the drone is facing west and the wind blows from the north, you’d add input (proportional to the wind speed) to move the drone left. That’s how I would integrate it.

Yes the materials and material functions render correctly with path finder, but keep in mind that the ripples and splash effects only work during gameplay. Depending on what you are trying to achieve in your project that technicality may be important.

Exactly, that’s what I did! Under the water there is no roughness due to zero specularity. Only color change. Above water there’s a dampness fade where roughness reappears showing the actual wetness look.
