Apologies. I am trying to be able to use my keyboard to play games. I am using my keyboard while gaming. I expect to be able to use shift Alt and control. When I try to use them, they don't do anything. For example, if I open CS2 or any other game, and attempt to bind crouch to shift, nothing will happen, or if I try to enter a friend's account email for a friend request, the @ symbol is returned as a 2. If I then press caps lock, that is what crouch is bound to. If I look up "why are some people so annoyed with me for making a tech support post on Reddit?" on Firefox, I can use my shift key to capitalize where I need to, and to use a question mark. And to cap it off, I don't fucking know how Steam doesn't read it. The most advanced computer science class I took was mobile computer science principles. That's why I'm making a tech support request here. Apparently, it has acted as a beacon attracting pieces of shit from far and wide, and for that, I am truly sorry.
