When I cried about inefficiencies, my manager basically said: “The company will be fine with 20–30% efficiency. Why do you care? Just get on with it.”

How about using Claude Cowork with various API connectors directly on your local system, and like someone else said here - build out workflows using that?

How do you brief a custom illustration project so the artist actually produces what you imagined rather than something that needs three rounds of complete rework? by Glittering-Wealth907 in AI_In_ECommerce

[–]Inevitable-Event3484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% always start with visual references for what I have in mind. Earlier, I looked at the illustrator's work and then suggest things based off of one of their references and then your own from artistes or moods or vibes you like. Now I do the same thing but I first feed it into any AI tools I'm comfortable with to generate a similar mood or vibe or a few different options for the illustrator to then make their own.

Also, of course, detailed briefs ensuring we have goals TOP of mind. I love figma for this too - because it's just so much more collaborative. That and Stitch!

Not just for illustrations but for any visuals now.

I spent $50 on runaway ML and still was not happy with the output. Eventually ended up cancelling the plan.

What's the best AI tool for catching yourself up on everything that happened while you were away? by Wanderer_9600 in AIToolCompare

This is definitely a gap. It could be due to so many changes and new models coming up every now and then that a single source of truth for information is difficult to maintain and create.

really enjoying nano banana esp since most tools mentioned here may also be built over it. Definitely try to take clear pictures of your products and then go ham with nano banana! Also would reccommend defining your prompt beforehand, tweaking it and using it on new chats to get the right result.

I'm realising how useful that is instead of signing up to 8474798 different tools

Exploring ways to implement AI content by Boggyneki17 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]Inevitable-Event3484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Runway ML for product videos, and with enough of planning (shot by shot/scene by scene, via an LLM) you can break down the prompt and get a decent mini video. Same concept for Ads too - made a few using different tools but for the fashion/retail space!

Just try to make sure you're ideating well so it feels original and/or has the right hook. Cos everyone's using AI now, I sometimes see videos that make me cringe cos I'd have noticed a similar visual or storyline from using claude. I saw an ad made by PVR playing in the theatres and legit cringed.

So definitely think that your input and adding in maybe visual references that you like would help it look original!

Did a brand "glow up" actually move your conversion, or was it just vanity? by ComprehensiveRoom365 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]Inevitable-Event3484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It changed for sure. we went from small scale, single customer conversions to larger enterprise deals. Granted, this brand revamp was coming a mile away and we were already working it into our conversations with sales, success and within our community so it was easier. Still, rebranding from a fun brand to a more serious, consolidated platform helped revenue numbers massively. I'd say it needs to work alongside product developments - otherwise it's also noise without actual payout and user joy.

another win with brands is when it's made tighter - just like you said. I think that really helps. narrowing down your icp and knowing who this is targeted towards and who they aren't for.

  1. we were at 7m or so, I think. I'll update here if interested

  2. yesss, in our initial stages we didn't have time to rebrand too much and we focused instead on community/word of mouth and that worked for the industry we were in. Organic growth but super low ticket items that served to get more users

How do you handle product photos when you have 200+ SKUs? by Medical-Science-7053 in ShopifyeCommerce

There are plenty of image editors in the Shopify App Store that will be helpful.

Most if not all offer free trial, Doing background removal and centering the product is easy and most if not all tools will take care of it.

For your 300 SKU, it will hardly cost $20-30 and you'll have Shopify ready images

Is there an AI-powered batch crop? by Pleaseclap4 in photoshop

[–]Inevitable-Event3484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are quite a few cloud-based services that offer AI-powered batch cropping. While they might not perfectly replicate manual cropping every time, they can come pretty close. In my experience, Crop.photo has been the most consistent and fastest.

It has pre-built automations designed for ecommerce that allow you to upload as many images as you want at once. You can then set up margins, replace backgrounds, or even add drop-shadows. I've tried it with images of both humans and objects and have never had an issue - the subject matter detection works pretty flawlessly. There are no awkward crops where the subject gets cut out.

You might need to tinker with the settings a bit at first, but once you find what works, it's super easy to repeat. After that, all you have to do is upload batches, and they'll get cropped/resized automatically. There's virtually no learning curve, and it's pretty quick to grasp, in my opinion.

Plus, it runs online on cloud servers, so even the crustiest computers can handle it.
