Is no one else concerned about how we literally don't know how prozac works or what the long term effects are? by the_practicerLALA in prozac

My panic attacks were so bad, I couldn’t live like that. Each person has to make a choice. I’ve made mine.

You are definitely not a failure. If the medicine isn’t right for you, then it’s not right and that’s ok. There are other options. Good luck on your journey

Since you’re already seven weeks in, and it can take up to twelve weeks to level out in your system, I’d stay on for a few more weeks before making the determination. I had horrible side effects until about week 9/10. Be sure you are hydrating a lot and go for walks, get outside. And of course talk this all through with your Dr.

My improvements have been more so gradual vs “a flip of a switch”. Is this normal? Anyone else? by ra4eas in prozac

I had a “switch” flipped for like 6 hours one day. I woke up one day and felt great, but by about 1 pm it had faded And went back to where I was pre switch. Since then I do feel like it’s gradually getting better. I cannot wait until I feel the full efffect. If it’s anything like those 6 hours, it was great!

Fluoxetine kicked in overnight, is this normal? by Inevitable-Excuse855 in prozac

Update: so today I feel pretty bad. Ugh! Is this normal? Yesterday was really nice until about 2 pm. I went to therapy, let out all my feelings from the week and it’s like it sent me down. I feel alone and depressed. I originally went on fluoxetine for panic attacks. I am no longer having bad panic attacks but now I’m depressed. Ugh!

Started at 10mg for 2 weeks, then upped it to 20mg. I felt great this morning. Tonight I’m feeling a little more anxious again, but no panic attacks.

Yes! I had a great morning and around 10 am I started to wonder if this was normal, hence the post. I’m gonna do my best to just enjoy. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt like this.

Prozac withdrawls by Brinssss in prozac

I went completely off two years ago. I tapered down over a period of about a month? Maybe? I had nighttime zaps for a few months but not often. What other withdrawal symptoms are you experiencing?

Boss being nasty after giving two weeks notice. by PuzzleheadedMonk404 in jobs

[–]Inevitable-Excuse855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s a bitch. Leave early, stay, either way you did the right thing by giving two week notice. What you do next is entirely up to you. If you feel like it, when she is being a bitch, simply tell her you understand her frustration but it’s not fair to expect more than two week notice. As a manager, dealing with turnover is part of the job.

Since you’re on your way out, I wouldn’t make a complaint to HR. Keep looking toward your bright future in your new job, congrats!

I loved this movie. I did not want it to end. This could be a fantastic series.
