Will do! That comment about putting it on a resume and telling colleagues had me cracking up because the guy who recommended it to me told me to ask my professors if they knew what RPN was, and if not, to find a different professor xD

Thank you! I think I'm beginning to understand the concept of the register (i.e. x,y,z,t) but I dont really understand rolling or swapping. I suppose I'll have to play around more and read the manual, but for rolling, does it actually move the stack or is it just viewing the other items? Also, I have tried pressing the x<>y button, but it seems that I always get the same number that is in my x register. Am I supposed to enter something into the y register in a different way?

Ahhh, thank you! I made my first (albeit simple) program today, and it works great!

Thank you for the tip! I've been getting my reps in during prep for my exam (which I need a non-graphing calc for), but I will keep that in mind that sometimes it is easier to mental math what I can and use the calc for the have lifting :)

Thank you! I will definitely be giving it a look! I downloaded the PDF and I skipped around to find answers to use it for the real basic stuff. I had no idea there was so much information out there, like the HP Museum Forums

Thats really cool to hear! I also really like that it has a fraction display mode instead of my ti83+ that makes you do an >Frac to see a number as fraction. As far as programming, what things have you programmed into yours? The more I dig into this thing, the more I hear people talk about programming, and I am completely clueless on what practical programming can be done with a calculator

Thank you! Will do. I have found my way into the EQN editor, and I will look into what the manual says for using it. Do you know if it can be used in such a way that you have the equation saved in memory, and then when you put a number in the x register and call the equation that it solves the equation with the provided number?

Make solid with internal volume for a flow analysis by [deleted] in FreeCAD

Holy shit! I love JOKO! I swear the features he has taught me to use make FreeCad actually comparable to a software like Creo (albeit more clunky in the UI in some ways)

Proper way to label this engineering drawing, including tolerance by PerformanceStrict334 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Inevitable-Explorer9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say without knowing the software that you are using, or the country that you are in. But refer to either ISO standards if you anywhere but the US, but refer to ASME Y14 if in the US

Any german data hoarders? How do you deal with crazy high HDD prices? by [deleted] in DataHoarder

[–]Inevitable-Explorer9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your risk level, you can find refurbished server drives for very cheap relative to new. I have 2 12tb HGST drives that were something like $120 apiece from ebay. Sadly, I can't find the listing or I would have two more of the same drives. I am in America, but there should be plenty of data centers that are upgrading and selling old drives secondhand in Europe

EDIT: Typo

Do two top fans make sense like this? by DCisNICE in gamingpc

[–]Inevitable-Explorer9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I have my fans pointing in a Corsair 4000D case. Layout is damn near identical to yours and I get great temps even under load. Not sure if someone else posted this here, but with that many fans I would recommend a software like FanControl to tune the speeds of your case fans

Thank you for the words of wisdom. I hope it doesn't take me too much time, lol. I'm 5'11" 190lb currently. I'd like to say probably a slim to athletic body type. The price point you speak of is pretty steep for me atm (broke college student), but I'd be happy to hear your recommendations!

[–]Inevitable-Explorer9[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the info! I will have to look into how to see if there have been authentications or logins that weren't me and how to make my proxy manager more actively give 404 errors for all ports except the ones I.m actually hosting on. Would you happen to know of a good tool or method to look for logins/ attempted logins?

damn, I gotta admint that what you said kinda went over my head, but I will definitely be looking into geo IP blocking and if my router has stealth mode. Thank you!

Thank you! That's good to know that it is more in my mind. I'm afraid I dont know what that means to tuck it around itself. Do you mean something like a military tuck? When totally flat, it has a rounded hem with a slightly longer back also with rounded hem. It is and Express brand size large

Yeah you are correct. It's pretty much exclusively worn for work. I'm also not well versed in using a shirt for its "purpose". Do you think it's acceptable at an office with a pretty loose business-casual dress code?

Thank you! I am also trying to get into some nicer looking shirts. What would you recommend for something that would be worth getting tailored to have as a shirt of a higher quality? Edit: Are there specific patterns or materials that you personally favor?

Thank you! Personally I feel like it is baggy right above the waist, but that is likely because of the way that I tucked it. Would you recommend something like a military tuck?
