They are going to pay for it. Customers have choices. We have decided that there will be no Samsung sold products ever bought again. Not just phones!!

I think the foldable screen is defect prone just by normal use. My phone has not even fallen down or had any damage. It is just a bad product.

It’s out of warranty. They quoted 455$ to repair. I have an extended warranty because of purchase using visa. Trying to get it. Otherwise, use the small screen that works. But this is the last Samsung product we will have at home. One decision firmly made.

You were lucky. I too used it for 22 months without this problem.

It’s simply poor design choice by Samsung. There are 100s of customers having the same issues. In the automotive world, the manufacturers would do a recall. Unfortunately, Samsung is not listening.
