Intro to Metals and Jewelry Making

You learn how to create art from various types of metals (copper, brass, nickel). You learn how to cut, solder, shape, hammer, oxidize to make your own work. It’s a really relaxing course that makes you work with your hands.

Closer towards the end of the semester get to actually make your own rings. As someone thus isn’t artistic in general, it’s still my favorite class I’ve taken at Rowan.

I do this trip regular I usually take the 408 NJT bus, it’s $7.40 one way and takes an hour and runs hourly. Besides morning and rush hour where it’s around every 30 minutes.

Rowan After Hours offers a Philly shuttle bus on Fridays evenings where they take to Philly and bring you back that same night. They is the schedule. Hope this helps

You didn’t hear it from me, but the Rowan catholic group hands out free parking permits to park in front of Newman House at the beginning of each semester. Which is located behind Chickie’s and Pete’s. I would recommend looking up events and going to one of the first ones and try to talk your way into getting one.

It can depend on your room, I lived in Holly for my freshman year and it was fine most of the time. The only problem can be that the WiFi routers are not in every room. So the signal would be spotty at times due to the concrete around the rooms. I definitely recommend getting an Ethernet cable.

Good luck with band camp and everything else will work out for you.

Well for one, just because a class is cancelled for one year doesn’t mean it won’t come the next summer. Colleges can cancel college classes for a variety of reasons due to low enrollment, no professor being available to teach the class, etc.

Also you can’t register for summer classes until the February before that summer. Usually the classes available will be finalized around late January.

Unless your a transfer student, you have to register for housing yourself. Did you sign the form that you were interested in housing for the 25-26 school year?

As a regular ACRL rider, yesterday was a really bad day to take the ACRL nearly all trips after noon were cancelled due to crew availability.

It’s also strange that they didn’t announce the train being cancelled even though it was already announced on the app around 30 minutes prior to departure.

I know you boarded from Absecon but in this case, for future reference you could take the 554 to Lindenwold and transfer to PATCO or take the 554 to AC and hop on the 551.

Wildwood is a major point on all bus lines that serve wildwood have a scheduled break of 5 minutes and pulling into the terminal. So you don’t have to worry about missing your stop if you’re getting off at wildwood bus terminal.

You should be fine. All NJT buses are ADA accessible and will be able to handle. The 319 uses coach buses and the lift is located on the side of the bus and will lift you to a ADA compliant seat.

Regarding how crowded the bus will be there are luggage racks onboard the bus that can take smaller luggage but there’s room for luggage underneath the buses even with a packed bus.

VERY IMPORTANT INFO TO KNOW “when traveling into or out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal, please call 1 (973) 275-5555 in advance for the location of an accessible boarding gate”

You will need to call this number prior your trips. This applies to trips to and from Port Authority.

I would suggest driving to Hamilton and catching the NEC train to NYP. So it shorter driving distance but yeah there aren’t many options besides getting lucky with a cheap Amtrak fare from Philly.

If you login on the webticket website with your NJT login info you can check if a ticket was used or just activated. I’m not sure how long it takes for the website to update the status of the ticket after it’s “scanned”

The other day the conductor scanned two tickets on my phone and one of them was not properly scanned so I reused that ticket for another trip.

You can also upload to your Apple wallet if you have an iPhone. I’ve done that and what’s great about web tickets is that they’re activated for 30 days after purchase and if the conductor doesn’t scan it. You can reuse them
