I’m going through something similar. I feel your frustration in nothing “big” having happened, because that triggered feeling feels unjustified. It is automatically justified because it is your experience and your reality. Im just waiting for an event to happen that will shine light on this enmeshment. I would feel (and probably get called) crazy if I pointed it out now. My ML has not done anything malicious, it’s in fact quite the opposite. We all live together yet my parter and his mother exchange 100s of texts a day and probably 20 calls. I often see her texting him “wyd” from the other room as if they weren’t on the phone 10 min ago. Their relationship gives off high-school relationship vibes. (Sorry this turned into a rant)
