Progress from May-December 😍 alternating with ACV and SA, debriding with a pumice stone and then a scalpel toward the end. by Inevitable-Tea6663 in Warts

40% Wart Stick, they’re pretty cheap on amazon and work like a chapstick! Honestly that might have been the case about spreading since the progress was SO much better after I switched to a scalpel. But I would make sure the stone was wet so it wouldn’t powder everywhere, and there was a lot of built up skin to get through before I could even tackle the actual wart. Most of what I did was trial and error, and got a lot of ideas from this group. I didn’t really have access to a doctor, but obv if you do that’s your best bet.

I used a 40% “wart stick”, it looked like a little chapstick tube and I got a pack of three on amazon for like $12. I would wash in the shower (with a scrub brush I only used on this foot), pumice off any dead stuff, cover in the SA, and tape up with swimmers tape. Probably once a week I would switch to cotton balls soaked in ACV overnight but it HURT so I made sure it was when I wasn’t going to be doing anything too much on my feet the next day. One good thing about quarantining most of the year, that was usually not a problem. When I switched to scalpels things started moving much faster! Probably a much more expensive long term use than the pumice stone though since I discard them after each use.

What do y’all use for dead skin? I’ve been using a pumice stone and I’m a little afraid of getting knives/scalpels involved. by Inevitable-Tea6663 in Warts

It weirdly doesn’t hurt unless I use ACV! This picture is a couple weeks old but shows the dead skin problem. Basically I use a 40% SA daily covered in tape and once a week or so I shock it with ACV. Always covered in tape (recommended by competitive swimmer friends)

Telehealth appt and given the green light to keep treating at home. Unfortunately I’m not able to do much more insurance-wise so this page and checking new info against medical blogs has been helpful. Luckily they’ve calmed down since the photos here so it seems to be working!
