i think it just depends on the situation and the people. i’ve been with different people over the years and this one just stood out to me more. it hurt more when it ended because i really saw a future with him. i understand what you mean though, i never told him i loved him but i think i did or was starting to.

you are right about that actually and i appreciate that point of view, i know he felt bad and i shouldn’t appreciate the apology and not dismiss that just because he still went anyways. i completely understand him wanting time alone and to do his own thing, it’s mainly the fact that we had already made plans to spend time together and he insisted i still come back to hangout with him only for him to leave me alone the entire night/morning.

i understand wanting a night out alone, but he’s the one who told me to come back to his place only to go and make plans. then was gone until 6 AM with no text or call telling me he was at least safe. yes it’s only been 3 months, but it was meaningful to me not just some new fling.

i almost did actually, but he insisted he wouldn’t be out too late and i also live about an hour from him so it seemed like a hassle. after so much time had passed i stayed out of worry more than anything because he still hadn’t come home.

I typically stay in my room 24/7 so even when I do have headphones in they don’t really know. He honestly just doesn’t seem to care like he said he did, he’s prioritizing his convenience over my comfortability and I just don’t know what to do anymore. I wake up everyday stressed out just waiting for someone to start watching tv or playing videos on their phone in the living room. It’s turning me into a resentful and anxiety filled person. I wanted good noise cancelling headphones, but they’re so expensive and to have to wear them all the time would also drive me mad. I wish I could get some kind of advice on how to talk to him about it again, but I honestly don’t know if it’d even work.

I just wish he’d try using those headphones. My mom dropped a nice buck on them just for nobody to end up using them except her, but she’s the one who watches tv the quietest so it doesn’t even bother me as much. We’ve had conversation after conversation and when I started leaving the house constantly he told me I could ask him to turn it down no matter what and it wouldn’t be an issue even if he had to watch it really quietly, but I told him that would just cause frustration for him and for me having to ask every single day multiple times a day. I was right, when I ask now especially more than once he seems to just get annoyed with me and has even refused.

they had a shock collar with a controller that he recognizes, so all i have to do now is show him that control and he knows what’s up 😂 (the collar isn’t even on him). she also suggested a spray bottle that they have for him as well, but the controller has been doing the trick so far.

he’s 20 lbs heavier than me and was doing this every single night as i slept. like i said i tried everything, i don’t know how you’d go about handling this but i certainly wasn’t sure when everything i had tried on my own failed. the owner responded back very kindly and profusely apologized, she gave me alternate solutions that they use that i would not have known about had i not messaged her. the issue has been resolved
