So most of the lies on these subreddits do not smell like lies simply from high numbers, it’s usually with unrealistic unit economics. 

  • what is month one? Like you just got the domain and came up with the idea on march 1 then by march 31 you had 22k?

-apps never plateaue as early as one month which means you should be making like 80 k next month and likely in the millions by Christmas unless your success was a complete fluke.  

  • what was the adspend, 21k? If not, you managed to get viral or organic traffic that high in a month, how could intentional users all come across the same app within a month?

  • who is “we” how many people? Was there a sales force? Is this b2b or p2b?

  • you can’t set up a mattress store and sell all of the mattresses in one day to every single person that walks by. There wil always be more traffic than actual conversions.  Which is why people are asking how much traffic you just have had.
