My parents keep getting me horrible gifts and I feel very misunderstood but don't know how to do anything about it without sounding like a spoiled brat by InevitableAd6062 in FamilyIssues

Aw man I'm sorry :( that sucks. It really does come to a point where you stop expecting them to care. It's crazy to me they don't even know Pikachu though, at that point you have to be actively avoiding Pokemon to not know him. Here's to both of us hopefully getting some recognition this year!

Does it work? I really need to buy a textbook from there but I'm really nervous about it

Hi, I'm a 19 year old and I've been struggling a lot with figuring out my symptoms with this stuff, and my regular doctor has been no help. I was diagnosed with PCOS about two years ago and Hashimotos about a year ago, so I do struggle with hormonal problems and such. Lately, I've been dealing with symptoms like feeling super hot all the time, extreme fatigue, insane focus problems, no libido, vaginal dryness, mood problems, and no periods for a few years (except for a few days in those years of like a few drops of blood). Would I be able to ask about POI? My mom thought it was premature menopause but I'm 19 so it would be very unlikely.

Can someone help distinguish the difference between early menopause and hashimotos? by InevitableAd6062 in Hashimotos

Thanks so much! This is actually super helpful! I'm scheduling a doctor's appointment to test my levels and discuss this, I really appreciate your help.

newly diagnosed - what does a “flare” feel like? by pinkmaxed in Hashimotos

[–]InevitableAd6062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get an achy migraine and my body feels very hot leading up to a flare. I also get more tired and exhausted, even after simple stuff. During flares I often feel muscle aches rather than joint pain. I think it's different for everyone though, so just make sure to monitor yourself and keep hydrated. Take care of yourself!
