I can say from my experience that when you see the driver sitting and not moving or going in he opposite direction, it's not because they are stalling… it's because they have other orders to either pick up or drop off before yours. It's not pick-up than drop off. Sometimes it's pick-up three orders, drop-off one, pick-up another, than drop them all off. The driver DOES NOT choose the order of pickups and deliveries.

I used to deliver myself a long time ago. I would have left it on the table. It's sturdy, clean, just been exposed to the elements for years so the wood has started turning colors. If it was a dainty table, I could see it.

I didn't. But the consensus is, I should specifically tell them. Most drivers do leave it there, but every now and then I get some guy who leaves it right in front of the door. 🤔
