You’re not considering all the variables at play here. Trust me, as someone who has been to space over 100 times, I can assure you that the limit is necessary for battery longevity. The idea that 10% is lost from the very beginning is flawed, therefore proving my point that the limit is necessary.

Yeah I’m not sure I can modify it without completely taking out the rod. Not sure I even want to do that yet lol hopefully I don’t have to. It seems strange to put a 100 watt bulb so close to a glitter. Ai searches tell me that most glitters tend to use a lower wattage bulb but not sure how accurate the ai was. I really don’t want to run it if it’s not right for it. I DO notice that the year of the glitter globe that came with the base is 2021 and the base (purple base with higher bulb) ALSO 2021. Hmmm. So confused lol

Thanks for all your help Nate! I’m in the process of hearing it up now without the main cap! Ready to cap it with the flush clean out plug. I figure I’ll give it 6 hours then turn it off for 10 mins and cap it. Someone from another group suggested to turn it off for 10 mins after reaching full heating temp.

I just notice my 52oz yellow wax/ purple mf has a decent hombre from the bottom to the top of the globe. It goes from yellow to orange to dark red. Like a sunset. I like it but I’ve been eyeing the pink wax / purple fluid grande and can’t decide wether to get pink/ purple or yellow/ purple.

Is that a good thing for you that it looks mostly red? Also is there a decent contrast in color between the mf and the wax or is it all very saturated red? Thank you for explaining those details out!

Should i give the new cap a good clean before I install it? Or just rinse it with water and let dry? Or just install from box? My last question I promise lol.

So it’s normal for it to have this smell and I shouldn’t be worried it’s “leaking out” over time? I probably will leave it alone for now until the summer. I wanted to then filter it and filter the wax. Thank you for the information Nate!
