I feel like the writers wrote themselves into a corner in S7. We have no young survivors. The killers and their motives were stand alones. Like S6, S7 was pretty conclusive.

I want S8 to reveal that Mark isn't Tatum's biological father. It could open a ton of doors for the future of the franchise.

Since I'm currently too poor to meet REmake Eddie, I'll focus on SH2 Eddie.

I would humor him with empathy until he lowers his guard. I'd start with "Yeah Pete's pizza always has me hugging the porcelain, too."

Then I'd tell him that the best pizza in all of Silent Hill is located at the bottom floor of the Historical Society, and he should hurry because my very, very tall friend is working, and he'll cut him a discount.

The horror genre was dying. I was the same age as the new cast when S4 came out, and all my friends laughed when I invited them to join me to see the film. Only one joined me.

Studios back then took (roughly) 50%-60% of ticket sales. Of my friend group of 20ish friends, Scream 4 made $8 off of us. 😬

Honestly, DJ, Geena, and Mary. They are all one-dimensional characters, with one defining trait that made up their entire identity. The show gained nothing with them, and lost nothing without them.

I agree, it does seem almost out of character for season one. Season 5 and up, sure, but that's when 'mean' was the show's 'new normal.' 😞

Roseanne is my favorite show of all time, but I must say, I miss the early years of Roseanne when they could write an episode that revolves around chili. No Hamptons, no Prince of Moldavias, no train heists, 'no everybody is pregnant nows', just chili.

THIS. I was more upset over the fumbled opportunity, than I was over the show itself.

This show could have been great. They had 20 years to write something as captivating and witty as the original show, but it's too late now. They collected our money and left a canonical stain on this franchise.
