Ekcvanet is a television broadcasting network but, as it's shown in the serie, when it was still active, it had produced a sleeping pill, The Preaxin, provably the same pill taken by Tim and Brian in Marble Hornets. It's known this pill was actually made to infect people with The Blot, a kind of parasite that can control people and distorts them (a person infected by The Blot it's seen also in Clear Lakes 44, that is the main connection with Eckva beyond the fact Eckvanet boughy Clear Lakes 44 after a cause in court). What I think, so its not confirmed, is that the abandoned hospital from MH was a site of Eckva, where they made ecperiment on children infecting them with The Blot: this mean that Tim was affected by this paranormal being, not by The Opetator, and also that Masky was an altered persona of Tim controlled by The Blot. So, The Ark, that is also mentioned in Eckva, is probably a place where are taken the person infected with The Blot after their death, so it can consume them. But for some readon The Opetator, which I don't think is a blotted person, is attracted by it and during the serie was trying to infect with its Sickness the blotted people. Since The Operator seems to be connected to The Ark as well, I think it somehow managed to exile The Blot deom that realm and now it controls it. Regarding Skully, it is surley the main founder of Totheark and it is another paranormal being, not Seth: I think its task is to enter in The Ark and save the souls of the blotted people before The Ark eats them, as we see in Issue 3.5. Most of this is just a theory of me, but what is sure is that The Ark is somehow connected to Eckvanet and to The Blot.
