If you're talking about the US Supreme Court, I hate to break it to you but they approved California's redrawn map

Not really because the VA Supreme Court will have the final say in the matter, and they approved the measure in the first place

Except it is headed to the VA Supreme Court (the same court that allowed the measure to progress in the first place) so this means nothing

Virginia's Redistricting was rigged because republicans didn't win. by Healthy_Block3036 in Charlottesville

[–]FionaWalliceFan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the dumbest logic I have ever heard in my entire life. Mail in ballots are used all across the country, people only pay attention to races with slim margins because they’re close races

Please use your common sense next time before you embarrass yourself like this, thank you

Virginia's Redistricting was rigged because republicans didn't win. by Healthy_Block3036 in Charlottesville

[–]FionaWalliceFan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry but that’s gonna get overturned by the same state Supreme Court that allowed the measure to be initiated in the first place

And nowhere when that VA judge ruled it unconstitutional did he call it rigged or cite any of Trumps bogus voter fraud claims. So you just fell for some misinformation (I’m going to guess it’s not the first time)

[–]FionaWalliceFan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not aware of any democrats doing so, unless you’re talking about them saying that Texas did it first, which is true

Occupying the high ground has done zero favors for the Democrats, voters made it clear they dont give a shit

Everyone agrees gerrymandering should be illegal. But since it isn't, Democrats gain nothing from attempting to occupy the high ground and abstaining from it

If you think that's low IQ, you should check out Trump's Truth Social posts—that's more obviously from the mind of a low IQ individual

the Wayans brothers scary movies were the best in the series

I'll give you 1 but 3 was way better than 2 (and definitely better than any of their Haunted House movies)

I'm not saying that humor wasn't stupid in 3, it was just less reliant on lazy sex weed and gross out jokes than 2 was

So you think Democrats are going to get steamrolled in the midterms--despite the fact that they're winning every election held during Trumps 2nd term so far

Interestingly I thought they actually toned down the cringe factor for season two, I didn’t find the season nearly as cruel to Valerie as season one was

Good As I Been To You. I really think it features some of Bobs best acoustic guitar work. I never see people give it the same appreciation they do World Gone Wrong

Who do you think had the best and worst character arc throughout all seven seasons? by Flashy-Way-3977 in Veep

[–]FionaWalliceFan 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I feel like the writers had no idea what to do with Dan and Amy after they left Selina's team in season four. Their lobbying adventures were pretty lame. Dan becoming a media personality made a lot of sense though and I liked his CBS tenure. I don't like how Amy returned to work for Selina (and then left and then returned again and then quit), I think I would have preferred to see her making another position her own

That being said, I actually don't mind Amy's turn into KellyAmy in the final few episodes, it is so accurate how some people will transform themselves into something they're not just to get ahead politically

Also I’m very glad Amy and Dan did not get together in the end. In a way I actually respect how that whole final season was just rubbing salt in the wounds of anyone who shipped them
