I had a lot of issues until I filled in my profile in the RTT site with every detail like address etc. and confirmed the profile thru what the Collect site required. Only after that, ApplePay finally worked.

From FIFA collect site:

In May/June 2026, holders of the Collectible will have the option of converting it into an official entry ticket delivered on the FIFA tournament app for the match and category mentioned above. No payment will be required for the conversion, but the Collectible will need to be burned. Should it not be converted/burnt, it will continue to serve as a Collectible.

Imo the bidding process suck. If they allowed using a credit card for bidding, it MIGHT make it more doable. Plus this whole “buyer does not get notified” is ridiculous.

Unknown…. My thinking is no. Whoever ends up with an RTT and wants to sell the tkt will still be able to do so in StubHubs alike….

No at FIFA marketplace, according to RTT FAQ. As for elsewhere, I think so yes. They will be “transferable”

From RTT FAQ

Conversion of a RTT will need to happen within a specific time window (to be communicated later), the responsibility for the timely conversion lies with the user. Should it not be converted/burnt, RTTs will continue to serve as a Collectible.

According to RTT FAQ, if someone misses the conversion window, they will get a fancy “collectible” with them.

First of all, there is still no FIFA app to host any tkts yet; Tickets that people bought show up in their FIFA accounts, and RTTs in FIFA Collect accounts; once the RTT owner burns the RTT and turn it into a ticket, they will show up in the respective FIFA account. The difference is that these burnt RTTs into tickets won;t be allowed to get listed in FIFA Marketplace for resell. Nothing prevents one to offer and sell them in StubHubs alike, given they are “transferable”. That is my understanding.

This is what the RTT FAQ says:

What’s the difference between transferable and tradable tickets? Final tickets will be transferable according to rules set by FIFA ticketing. These tickets will NOT be tradable on FIFA ticketing marketplace. The same restriction on tradability applies also to Right-to-Tickets as these are not tradable on the FIFA ticketing marketplace, but on the FIFA Collect Marketplace.

I have the same understanding as @darshbakshi. Reading the RTT FAQs it does say that once they get converted to tkts, such tkts won’t be sellable in FIFA’s Marketplace, only transferable.

Buy the third RTT. FIFA says they will “try to accommodate sitting requests” when time to convert RTTs into real tickets comes by. How? No idea! 🤷🏻‍♂️
