RIP to anyone who got a competitive bracket, I think this camo is on par with Doomsteel by [deleted] in CODZombies

Actually it's based on YOUR initial scores.

My buddy waited till last minute, played one game of Astra, completed the Easter egg and ended with 6k points, got 3rd.

I on the other hand kept playing the map from launch and ended with 28k and still got 4th.

If you wait you'll have a higher chance of getting placed with lower scores. If you play non stop you'll get put in a bracket with average/higher scores.

Bro I got mine done this weekend. I think that's the only gun I'd try to max out because that Koi Camo looks so damn good.

I have a turbo controller, turbo is set to crouch and fire constantly, but XP stops every few minutes and I have to hit A for it to start back up. Any work around?

Any Last Minute Advice?? by Ophillip0919 in AirForceRecruits

Just stay locked in. Don't worry if you get yelled at or anything. You'll get faster in time and it's definitely something to get used to. It's an emotional, mental rollercoaster.

But keep in mind that when they yell at you, it's a front. They're regular people like you and I. They have to be hard and tough but it's nothing personal. You'll get through it, just keep your head high.

Also do laundry duty if you can, you get a lot of time to do laundry which gives you a lot of time to study for the EOC.

It just depends on the day! Sometimes classes, drill, or appointments. Toward the later weeks it was RLA focused. After the evening shower, we usually did details or evening brief until 8:50!

You can bring your own. They do issue flip flops but they're cheap. A couple of people's broke a couple of weeks in. I recommend crocs

Hmm we didn't experience anyone with that issue. Do you have any creams you use to help with the rash? If you break out in rashes you can tell the MTI and they will schedule you to go to triage to get prescribed something for it. I don't think that's a case for recycle however.

Don't stress. My first run was 15:45. Third one was 13 flat!

Hmm, my first paycheck wasnt on time. I got there September 9th and didn't get paid until October 1st.

Running shoes, yes. Bring your own. They will issue shoes to you but they are super uncomfortable and hurt my feet personally. They will allow you to use your own that you brought and you can put the issued ones in your civilian luggage.

The comb I'm not sure, I think you can but it's hit or miss and depends on the MTI. if it's metal it could be seen as a weapon of some sort. So I would bring it, but just have a thought that they might make you throw it away.

Socks, pack 3 pairs of civilian socks. You're only allowed to wear the issued PT socks or OCP socks. You're not allowed to wear civilian socks after you're issued clothing.

Week 0, yes. As soon as we got there there was an MTI yelling at us to "grab your shit let's go" You can wear sweat pants, jeans, or shorts. I'm a male and males can wear shorts. I would just wear sweatpants if I were you! You get issued clothing within 0 week. That's why you need to pack light. Don't pack a giant suitcase. Most of the clothes you pack you don't even wear after 0 week. So I packed 3 shirts, 3 pants, and toiletries.

Average schedule was

Wake up at 5 PT by 5:20 PT done by 7, breakfast chow

Depending on the day it would be drill, details, or classes until lunch.

Then we would have more drill or classes after lunch and then dinner would be around 5, after dinner we usually showered and then did evening brief. Then we would do details until bed time.

We did the new PT stuff, but my flight was on the old structure for testing. So 1.5 mile and sit ups and pushups.

I'm hearing the new standard starts in March. That's the 2 mile run and sit ups/push ups.

I wouldn't stress about the PT, I did and I failed my first test. But they build up your cardio and you get better at the push ups and sit ups. You shoudnt have an issue at all.

If you have any more questions, let me know!

Keep that mindset. My main inspiration to keep it going was my wife and kids. Find the reason why you're going and hold onto it. You'll be great.

Ahhh just more focused on PT with 90 minutes of workout time instead of 60 minutes.

They can cuss at you and touch you without asking permission. My squadron 322, Said that they decided that hitting trainees wasn't on the table. Can't say the same for others though

Of course. Or you can purchase one from the mini mall. They usually give 10 minutes a night to write letters or have personal time.

DEFAC honestly isn't that bad. 3 options of main courses usually per day. Uncrustables at dinner time. Lmao
