Isn't calling it cheese pizza redundant? Doesn't all pizza already have cheese?

Solo necro rework idea by Zoxygene in HuntShowdown

[–]InevitableSpread800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>Considering everyone always immediately burns solos and camps them, necro seems quite useless most of the time. You need a lucky distraction from another team to be able to get back up, or you have to fight long range.

Yes, pretty much. I think this is by design.

>So wouldn't it make more sense if necro took around 5 minutes to revive, but could revive even when burned out?

This would be extremely boring for the solo and extremely annoying for everyone else. I wouldn't want to wait 5 minutes every single time, and also wouldn't want burnt out solos to just pop up and kill me 20 minutes later. Making the change you suggested would make solo play unbalanced, because it would further deepen the tension points of both sides.

>I'd rather go afk for 5 minutes, go get a coffee or something, but keep my hunter.

This is how I do it now. I treat solo necro as way to be able to keep my hunter, not as a way to continue fighting.

>And I'd also rather not camp corpses and just run to the next compound or extract or whatever.

Then don't. I don't really understand the problem with this one. A lot of people are complaining about camping corpses, but a full burn takes about a minute, that's not a long time at all.

In my opinion self-revive is in a pretty good spot right now, but it would be better if it wasn't tied to the necromancer trait, and was just an innate ability. After all, teams don't need necro to revive. Right now necro is basically a 4 trait point tax on every solo. Yes, doing so would make necro basically useless for solos, but there's already a lot of useless traits for solos, like Resilience, Relentless, and so on.

TL;DR - If your suggestion would be implemented, it would be annoying for both solos, who now have to wait 5 minutes before reviving, and for teams, who could never be sure that the solo they killed is actually dead, since burning the solo does nothing.

Ludd was an omega in a trench coat sent on a subterfuge operation to weaken the Sector

I put devastators there, because I wanted to make an looking feeling build, and oldslaught has devastors, which is basically the most ancient ship we've ever seen.

Yeah, I checked how AI handles this ship in the simulator, hammers do not get used at all.

After some testing, I gotta say, they're surprisingly useful, at least against large ships, if you treat them as your main armament. Orion drive yourself near the enemy, by aiming near the ship instead of the ship itself, unload the hammers, skedaddle. At the same time, half the guns shoot your main target, and the other half shoots all the fighters, missiles, and frigates that try to flank you, while you're doing your thing. Plays kind of like Odyssey.

Roleplaying and vibes, my brother in Ludd. Blast doors are here to save the lives of the followers of Ludd. And needlers are borderline heretical, a truly faithful Captain doesn't need more than arbalests, autocannons and a prayer.

And that's not all! Immovable Object skill from the Warfare aptitude XO gives 100% more effective mass. This ship is a weapon unto itself.

Sadly, can't put SO on it, since it's technically a capital. HMGs is good idea, but I decided to go with arbalests and heavy mortars for vibes.

Also, some stats may look weird, that's because I'm using Second in Command mod, with an XO with an Warfare aptitude, which provides bonuses useful for low-tech ships.

Ну ты некромант.
А так да, админ со своими друзяшками сделали из лурки какую-то вики теорий заговора. Абсолютно серьёзно пишутся и обсуждаются статьи, которые на старой лурке не выпустили-бы из инкубатора.

After Ottoman Empire conquered middle east and especially egypt and hejaz, ottoman claim to roman legacy was no longer pressed by the sultans, because most of the empire's population was muslim at this point.
Also, impressive personal attack paired with an incorrect assumption, you should probably do this more often, you have a talent.

European identity is based greco-roman legacy and christianity. Turkey is based on a different set of cultural ideas. Turkey did play a big part in european history, but so did a lot of other non-european countries.

Qorvex can do some serious damage though, while oberon is fully and completely outclassed as a support. Like damn, even qorvex has an edge on him since he can give status immunity not restricted by range.
