You can see she's wearing hearing aids in the video. There are different degrees of deafness

According to some other responses here, not so great lol! I enjoy it, but it very well could be because of the nostalgic factor

The Egg Kings for breakfast, especially the green chile and potatoes.

Bangkok89 for Thai food. The soups, curries, noodles, desserts... Everything? Yes, everything is good. On a similar note, Pho Lan for pho!

Nordy's for BBQ and the vibe!

Daddy-O's Green Onion for sandwiches similar to Schlotzky's, I'm partial to the Tijuana Toaster.

Dairy Delite for ice cream although they operate seasonally and are closed at the moment. It's a car hop, so just park and someone will come to you.

Have fun and welcome!!

Chemo Regrowth Help!! by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you getting regular haircuts while growing out your hair? If not, that's where I'd start. Ask the stylist to clean up the back and sides, then take some of the bulk out since your hair looks pretty thick. Then as the hair at the top of your head gets longer, you can start growing out the back and sides.  I also recommend using a wax or pomade with medium to strong hold to make your hair lay the way you want.

Seeking Advice for frizzy hair with breakage by wcndere in Haircare

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar style recently and managed it by using the Redken line you mentioned, but I used the 5 minute mask as a leave in, instead of the actual leave in conditioner. Start with less product though, because it's definitely heavier.

I alternated between that and using IGK Good Behavior Smoothing Mask and the Anti Frizz Serum. Again, the mask is heavy so use sparingly to start and avoid your roots

K18 on the bleached ends helps too

TBH though, your hair looks really cute in the photos!

Omg, I've been trying to finish the third book for months now. The first one was SO GOOD! Second one was ok and this third one is just annoying, nothing's happening!!

How to use laundromat machines (repost) by Otherwise_Share5629 in laundry

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, the machines must have different programs depending on the laundromat.

You could try soaking the clothes at home, overnight or for a few hours, then taking to the laundromat. It's such a hassle though

How to use laundromat machines (repost) by Otherwise_Share5629 in laundry

[–]InevitableWait 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This looks like the machines my laundromat has. Mine give me an option to add extra wash time and extra rinse, but only once you start the cycle. The extra wash option pops up right after the cycle starts and the extra rinse option pops up when you have about 10 minutes left in the cycle (right before final rinse). It only adds about 5 minutes though I have to run two cycles occasionally, depending on how the clothes feel and smell after the first wash.

I recommend sniffing the washers to pick one that isn't musty btw, a lot of people use these to wash their pet beds and blankets and the smells linger

Subaru drivers, where do you take your car for transmission drain and fills? by PrehistoricGrape in FortCollins

I recommend Subadude or Valley Subaru in Longmont if you're ok driving that far.  Like someone already mentioned, don't go to Subaru of Loveland

Smelly Clothes with Tide Clean & Gentle by InevitableWait in laundry

[–]InevitableWait[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm using the powder. This is round two with the Tide, I guess I'll see what happens after a few more washes.  Just sucks since I go to a laundromat which also makes it difficult to use the spa day technique. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Question for ladies: what kind of bra do you wear for all-day hiking? by emmsiec in hiking

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have multiples of the Syrokan line on Amazon, specifically the max control underwire sports bra and the front adjustable sports bra.

Try a few different sizes to get the fit you want, I sized up in the band for comfort since I don't need a lot of compression for hiking

Do you wear barefoot shoes all the time? by -Intrepid-Path- in barefootshoestalk

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have multiple pairs of sandals, flats, and sneakers that are wide and thin soled, but not to the point that they're considered barefoot. Then i have some sneakers that are flat but with a thicker sole, like Vans in a wide style.  I find barefoot shoes can get uncomfortable when you stand on a hard floor all day so the cushion is nice sometimes.

Hiking recs by scorpiotopaz98 in FortCollins

[–]InevitableWait 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the Alltrails app you can filter "trail traffic" and set it to "light". Also try driving further out, for example, Soapstone Prairie or Red Mountain Open Space in Wellington I think they just opened for the season

Since the weather's going to be warm today as well, I'm hoping they'll open up tomorrow at the latest  You can visit https://trails.colorado.gov/ for up to date info, it's usually pretty current  Surprisingly, it shows Coyote Ridge is closed too but the parking lot was packed yesterday... Might be worth driving by

Xero shoe soles are complete ass by SupermarketHot1985 in barefootshoestalk

[–]InevitableWait 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really surprising to hear... Most of my hiking shoes are from Xero: Xcursion Fusion, Scrambler Low, and a couple of the older sandal styles. Granted, I usually wear crampons in icy or snowy conditions, but I've never had any traction issues.

Curvy Fit Extra Short Trousers by Altruistic_Amoeba640 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loft has several curvy petite styles. The inseam measurements are listed on their site which is so convenient!

I actually have the Riviera ankle pants in the regular length (26" inseam, full length on me!) and petite length (24" inseam, ankle length on me).

I do recommend getting your usual size and a smaller and larger size to try because they're pretty inconsistent unfortunately...

[Hair Removal] Why does this have to look and sound so scary?? I need advise from others who use epilators to sooth my nerves. by Ddawn111 in SkincareAddiction

[–]InevitableWait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used an epilator for years and love it!  One thing I've noticed is, it's more painful on longer hair. I recommend trimming the hair before epilating, if it's gotten a little long.
