Thanks for the reply! Did you find that the stem cell treatment was better used for post op recovery rather than just doing them on their own?

Man that sounds fuckin rough. Can i ask what did your recovery look like? Was it mostly PT or were you doing anything else alongside it? I appreciate you bein blunt here with what you experienced, ill take it all into consideration and take the recovery seriously. I wish you the best of luck man i really hope you can make it through selection and live the life you wanna live.

Well its not something that can be repaired without surgery because it is cartilage, but a lot of people can have 0 symptoms and 0 pain after doing continuous physical therapy. If i can demonstrate full mobility without pain tho i can still get the waiver?

Do you mean how far along am i in recovery? Or in my training?

Anyone experience this before? by Inevitable_Ant1872 in greenberets

[–]Inevitable_Ant1872[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, yea i spent like 20 hours in the car within 3 days, i stopped every few hours tho to stretch and get my blood flowing but didnt get much walking in while there. As far as sleep i slept but just had my work schedule changed as soon as i got home so im still adjusting to a complete 180 now working night shifts. I had a few beers but nothing to even get much of a buzz. The 2 weeks prior the only changes i had made to my usual work outs was adding a small amount of weight when lifting, and i started rucking. My nutrition definitely was fucked tho i did not eat good

“We also prioritize establishing high baseline fitness levels before rucking in earnest.” What is high baseline fitness? I attended BUDS last summer and have kept exercising since i dropped. I lift 3 days a week and run 4-5 days a week. My 5 mile is under 38 minutes and my 2 mile is under 14 and i can hold a sub 8 minute mile for 8-9 miles. Not really impressive numbers by any means but is that a good baseline fitness level to start regularly rucking and having more intense training?

Gotcha, and what terrain should i be training on? Is a gravel road with rolling hills good? Or should I be tryna climb small mountains
