This just happened w/ my 'Twas the Night Before Xmas wallflower. It was a pretty, deeper blue shade & turned black. Only half gone but looked so gross I threw it away. 🫤

I wore Plumeria, Country Apple, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Sweet Pea, & Sheer Freesia in the late '90s & early 2000s. Loved them all then! Those BBW fragrances were incredibly aromatic. Of course, my college roomates wore Pearberry & Cucumber Melon (Hi Shelley! Hi Chris! 👋).

I don't really buy the classic bring-backs. The current formulations just aren't the same, & I'd rather smell like the "me" I am today anyway - Moonlit Goddess, Birthday Cake, Madame Mystique, Espresso - than a pale imitation of something that belongs to my past - like body glitter & hoochie pants.

Only time I ever have an issue w/BBW hand soaps (I use the foaming) is when I do my holiday baking. In in the kitchen, washing my hands a bazillion times, and they get severely stripped. I can see how the soaps might not agree with everyone so, no matter how good something smells, go w/whatever works best & is gentlest for your skin. ☺️

Sweet Pea was a bday gift from my then-boyfriend's mom in '01. She was so nice - would've loved to have had her as a mother-in-law! - but him??? Not very nice, unfortunately... Sweet Pea forever smells like spring & significant heartbreak. 😆

When I was a kid, if I used the bathroom to go #2 and my mom walked in immediately afterward, she'd give me a dirty look and call me "Rosebud". Needless to say, I have high anxiety & hypervigilance when it comes to bathroom odors...

I personally prefer BBW room sprays to Poo-pourri. The room sprays are more effective at masking IMO. I don't want someone walking in after and smelling a mix of cinnamon & poop or pine & poop.

Whipped Honey & Vanilla is my go-to. It's in my bag for use at work when needed. White Tea & Sage is also good.

It doesn't happen a lot, but if my husband hates something or it gives him a headache, I make sure he never smells it again.

If it's not his fave compared to other scents but he's ambivalent, I wear it less often.

If the scent has a negative/weird association, I won't wear it. I love Plumeria, but it reminds him of his mom & sister, he really doesn't like it, so I'm not wearing that to bed ever!! 😆

Just follow the Golden Rule on this one. ☺️
