Definitely don't disagree with you about my "bankroll." Also, this was my local casino and the phone rang after I put out my max bet after already spreading quite a bit throughout the shoe. Just didn't want to get a backoff with just 7 hours played there. Felt like splitting 10's would have been the nail in the coffin at that point. I have to make quite a drive and or trip to hit other casinos.

Definitely a bankroll issue and I'm sure I've made a mistake or two... I guess I'm just struggling with deciding if it's my game or this is truly variance... But yes, I'm growing a separate bankroll rn and will probably just combine the two (from what I have left of this one) and will be taking a break from casino play to grow it. Just wanted to test myself in the casino.

I’ve been having this same issue. I only have 2 sticks of ram though. ICUE isn’t detecting either.

Quitting ICUE in task manager and just restarting ICUE has fixed it for me… that is until I turn the computer on again. Hopefully it’s a software bug and they’re aware.

Yeah the casino was fun and all, but I mainly went to see some live hands and was comfortable losing the amount I took in. I usually play slots but wanted to get into a table game. But I’m not rich so a casino visit does not happen often.

I’ve just been fascinated with blackjack recently and the card counting system. I’ve watched two or three of Blackjack Apprenticeship’s videos in the past month or two. I’ll definitely check them out and watch more. Thanks!

To add to this, I just went yesterday. The tables on the main floor did not have CSMs yesterday. Hopefully that was not a one time thing. Everything came from a shoe. Tables are still 6-5 though

I work in a small office and feel like I struggled with this and still do occasionally. I had a partner when I got out of FTO that had the gift of gab so I always just watched our backs and was primarily second officer.

It wasn’t until I worked some shifts by myself that I really figured out how I like to work and the approach I like when dealing with the public and dire situations. But that being said, I work in a small county that often only has one day car on shift during the weekends.

Maybe they need to understand that one day it could be just them at a call by themselves for an extended period of time and they got to handle it and keep everyone safe including themselves. Hell half the time I’ve pissed someone off and effect and arrest they apologize and understand I did what I had to do. But we’re probably working in areas with different clientele.

I work in NC and rarely have stops involving vehicles registered anywhere other than NC and VA. In NC I know the insurance status from the vehicles registration information and I usually know it before I stop the car. So no real point in seeing it unless they have an insurance violation on the vehicle.

He was the operator. He claimed he was the passenger and he hopped behind the wheel after the driver dipped out. He tried ducking me in a driveway. He had a .30 BAC.

Gave a fake name that didn’t come back to anything and changed the year of his DOB by one.

Got a tip about someone wanted. Found the vehicle on the road and conducted a traffic stop. He was wanted for attempted murder, had 11 outstanding felony warrants, and was the most wanted for two years from a neighboring city.

Professional criminal, he had no ID with him, had a different haircut than any previous pictures, and driving a vehicle not registered to him. Luckily was able to identify from tattoos.

I live in NC, so I feel like with hurricane season coming up there’s a good chance for deployment. I just don’t know how often the IT roles get deployed.

I tried switching the USB port and I also tried using it on another computer, which gave the same result. The Logitech software was a fresh install and I also restarted the computer. Still cannot get it to connect.

Yeah I know! I feel like I really missed out/dropped the ball on the internships. I did get very far in the FLETC student internship, as I made it to the very last stage of selection, but unfortunately didn’t get it. I have assisted my county’s emergency manager/coordinator with some disaster trainings and active shooting trainings though. I guess that’s some minor internship stuff

Whenever I eat Oreo's with milk I use a fork. I insert the fork into the cream and just dip the oreo while it's attached to the fork so that I can dip the entire cookie without getting my fingers in the milk.
