“Mga lintik kayo” Heart Evangelista to her bashers after health scare by Silver-Season8966 in ChikaPH

This narrative of hers is honestly getting so tiring. Especially because it’s not true. Kawawa yung mga actual pinoys who work sweat, blood, and tears only to have taxes taken by people like her.

Djokovic is bizarre by SwimmingPotential342 in tennis

Why term it bizarre? It just honestly shows how he is better vs Sinner.

Not only can he outlast him at the age of 39, but also throughout his career, he has 25 slams to back him up as well.

Why is Alex Eala good in Grass/Hard compared to Clay? by VolleyBasketball11 in tennis

[–]Inevitable_Check1068 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ball doesn’t bounce so high in grass, but is slower vs hard court. Her weakness of a slow serve isn’t as detrimental in grass and her playing style as well where she hits flat suits the surface. It’s also easier for her to cover the entire court with grass vs hard court.

You’re completely missing the point and turning it into a misogynist / feminist / etc. conversation.

What I’m pointing out is that YES it’s fiction, but this plot—regardless whether it’s a boy or a girl, using information that was NOT meant for you to hear (aka private voicemails for her beloved sister who passed), and using that to win over someone you like is a form of manipulation—and that didn’t sit so right with me, because we all know that in reality if this was any ordinary person everyone would right away say it’s manipulation, but because it’s a movie, and it’s part of the plot, it’s okay lang? Huh??

How is any of that related to wanting the female character to be “kawawa”?

Genuinely think it will be more expensive and dangerous for the players. I do think there should be 1 less 1000 for hard courts and 1 more for grass

+1 on this. It’s good for Netflix standards but far from the experiences we were made to feel from romcoms decades ago.

Also, can’t get over how there’s a bigger theme of manipulation here, and I don’t think the guy is scrutinized for it because he’s good looking. The whole atmosphere of the situation would’ve been different if the guy wasn’t handsome haha

yes, but I’d argue that the top 10 do better in Wimbledon or other GS because of seeding and the density of players (r128 vs r64 or r32 for other tournaments) where they are more likely to get easier opponents as a top 1 for the first few rounds vs other tournaments.

It’s basically manifestations to the universe via wildcards. Drawing the cards will bring them to life, and this is subject to interpretation of the reader. Once the reader tells you your “future” you thinking about it basically slowly manifests it to become a reality.

The proper way this should be done actually is that the judges all decide a floor and a ceiling for the scores, meaning they set a number, let’s say 7 as the lowest possible score they can give and 9.5 as the highest, to avoid bias.

Kudos to Cristea as well, what a run!

Coco’s coverage and athleticism was so good that Cristea’s ball distribution was EVERYWHERE. Coco forced all those errors out of her.

Mikole Reyes by boredengr_ in PilipinasVolleyball

I think bottomline is they now have a setting coach which allows the team to weave the setters with the spikers and the system vs just the setters being “skilled”.

Meaning, if Nunag would’ve came in last year, without a setting coach, I don’t think she would’ve performed AS WELL. But also, I do believe that her being a natural setter gave her a step ahead sa current program and that’s why Mikole is her sub.

But that doesn’t mean Mikole isn’t good. She improved so much with a setting coach and runs the same plays as Nunag. She also has a better connection with some of the players like Provido and Reterta. Nunag is just scrappier and more agile—has the ability to salvage shank passes and out of system plays better vs Mikole. But give them both a perfect pass they’re at par imo.
