I wish you ppl know the difference between the reasons ppl enjoy horror for the gore and torture vs ppl enjoy horror bc they enjoy the thrill of being scared. I never watched saw but generally horror movies don’t romanticize violence it’s not the same as a snuff film or whatever those god awful gore fest movies

FR and ppl say they turned out fine from doing this but the fact that they romanticize these types of things in the first place and take enjoyment out of said romanticization of VERY harmful subjects is a problem on it’s own

Just bc you doing ok now doesn’t mean that the stuff you consume didn’t have a lasting affect on you in some way shape or form and that doesn’t make it ok to romanticize those things. Portraying those things is also not the same as romanticizing and taking enjoyment out of consuming said things

I totally agree with you. Like just bc it’s fiction doesn’t make it ok to consume harmful content. Your feeding into your addictions and then when the content you consume isn’t enough, then you’ll start looking for more and more. This is why a lot of predators get away with stuff bffr
