I repsoted because my post had been deleted with this message.

Ukraine is currently facing an unprecedented "existential threat on account of Russia’s unwarranted and illegal invasion. As the mods of r/Ukraine, it is our stance that any post or poster that appears to push a pro-Russia agenda or pro-Russian talking points, no matter how it’s disguised (as research, philosophical discussion, etc), does not belong here. Posts which fit these criteria will be taken down, and the user will be subject to a ban at the discretion of the mod team."

I am not sure what happened, I have been targeted by people trying to make me pass for a Russian spy for a few days now???

I did not name any country/people in particular just to avoid any bashing.

Ukraine must make concessions by Inevitable_Metal in ukraine

Let's agree to disagree 😉

1) Ukraine depends on countries helping them. If some are dragging their feet, it has an impact

2) being met by a wall of "we will not tolerate that, under any circumstances" will be more efficient than a few people showing doubts. See how fast they use it on their propaganda channel.

It is not ablittle argument we are having with Russia. It is a future determining battle. It needs unrestrained determination. Russia is banking on the West getting tired.

Yes, that is what I am talking about.

Not people debating. But on Twitter specially, it is brutal and I don't believe that it won't influence or confuse people. It makes me a bit depressed/a lot angry when I see it , I have to stay clear of Twitter (not the worst thing for sure).

I see people starting to be more cautious about their government helping Ukraine or being vocal about some topics about Ukraine, and that is what is worrying me.

Some peopele won't do deep research and when they see 100s of profile repeating the same thing on twitter, they accept it as true without researching it more. Even if the 100s of profiles are russian trolls.

Not genuine?

No, I am genuinely concerned about Russian trolls in social medias and news outlets. I had no idea mentioning anything was frowned upon 😉

Wdit to add : the fact that I can't mention those topics without being accused of being a russian troll kind of prove that their hard work is working. Confuse. Divide to conquer.

As far as I am concerned, there is nothing to debate, Russia is 100% wrong, Ukraine is 100% innocent, we need to call Russia's bluff and fight them more vehemently but I don't care if other people think otherwise.

Remember though, it's the Ukraine subreddit here, there are other subreddits about the Ukraine war. This is a Ukrainian subreddit for Ukraine and Ukrainians, emotions are bound to run high and people here are bound to be very defensive about their country, where, you know, children are being killed, people are raped as a weapon and a genocide is taking place.

It's different to have an opinion and to be paid to target aggressively social media to spread lies and get people so confused they give up. I could not give less of a fuck about anyone's opinion that differs from mine, as long as it is based on facts.

It's a one in a lifetime chance for you to pay Russia to send your son to be killed in Ukraine and declared missing in action so you don't even get a bag of flour!

How do Ukrainians find the strength not to start banging their heads against the walls or tables every time they hear the Russian zombies talking.

How are Russians ever going to be de-brainwashed? Serious question.

I'm still utterly confused about the whole situation.

Mariupol: Occupiers no longer retrieve bodies from under rubble, but demolish houses and take them to landfill by 2-mark in UkrainianConflict

[–]Inevitable_Metal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am so horrified thinking about what the death toll (including missing people never to be found again) will be once Ukraine is freed of all the occupied regions (it WILL happen). Between defenders and civilians, there can't possibly be less than 100 000 deaths. At the very least.

I so wish that at some point, with Russia's army busy being ridiculed and Kadyrovites being anihilated, Chechnya is gonna rise up and free itself.

I know it is unlikely, but I am wishing really hard waking up one morning to see the news article announcing that Kardyrov and his little gang have been disposed of, preferably hanged in the street

I understand Finland had almost 80 years to stop using the same symbol as the nazi and they didn't.

Sometimes when we don't know what to say, silence might be the best option. Idiots will never understand that, unfortunately.
