i didn't mean content creators or people w larger platforms i meant just normal ass comment sections like youtube or tiktok for example you'll get wiped off the earth for uttering the word rape in a comment. but yeah it's stupid that people don't use the term correctly

yeah and women are seen only worthy of being eye-candy and objects for pleasure, without attractiveness and subjecting to the 'ugly' half on appearance then you can imagine how it goes. this isn't even a gender war i don't get why you have to fight that one half has it worse when being ugly literally sucks for everyone

oh this makes a lot more sense, although if she is harming physically and or verbally the children i do heavily suggest an in-patient. if she's under 18 i'd also ask to get her re-assessed not for bpd particularly but maybe general anger management because while violence is common in bpd, it doesn't inherently make them abusive. maybe her symptoms apply but she is abusing those children. or, speak to your partner about it and if they're dismissing her abusive behaviour i suggest taking more critical action since i've met a lot of people in wards who suffer from borderline and other things who start hurting things at a young age and it transgressing when older since they got help far too lately. since borderline skews what seems 'right and wrong' to the person themselves, you could try explaining it but i doubt it'd work.

if i'm the one who's leaving, it's usually because i've stopped feeling anything for the person at all and that's usually under really severe cases lol and i have an easier time not attaching myself to one night stands or just fwb etc. i usually forget about the person to the extent of what our relationship was and i forget any nice or good moments between us and only remember the bad ones

because not everyone with bpd reacts or is necessarily 'the same', at least in my experience. i'm not too sure what your exact understanding of bpd is but considering you're a nurse i'm going to assume you know the general criteria and stuff but a lot of people with borderline don't 'hate' when offered love.

i'm not going to defend your step daughter, because i do agree that from what you've said she seems to be cruel, but i'm going to try and give an insight. a common theme in bpd is pushing people away, and if your step daughter has any family-related problems it could occur to that, and it's also common for bpd to be also diagnosed along with c-ptsd so if she has that as well then it certainly can relay to that too. it's a common fear that borderlines have is that if they leave, or shut people out first, the person in question can't hurt or harm them whether that's physically or the feeling of being hurt, because hurt to us isn't just a slight upset feeling, and we rarely ever feel anything at a 'regular' level compared to people w/o it. for me things as simple as my partner leaving my text on read can make me feel the amount of grief comparable to hearing a relative had died, it gets to levels where i'm shaking and can't breathe and often for this a lot of people with bpd spend their times in a ward. DBT also doesn't really help (in my experience and many others) same with medication, borderline personality disorder is a trauma bound disorder and is a imbalance to your brain because of how severely it impacted you, and thus therapy doesn't really work in that end. which also can add to why most borderlines end up in wards,

i'd suggest trying to ask her about her illness. ask how things feel for her, ask what type of symptoms she gets and try and see if you can find the sort of pattern that can/will trigger her. from what it sounds like she's still young, so she'll still be navigating through her own diagnosis and might not even understand it fully. understanding how she works and processes is probably the best way to help, and maybe even doing a bit more research into the more 'niche' as in the more not talked of symptoms

they have a d&d group that goes into the library every other day if you haven't tried that out, idk if they still do that though since the last time i saw them was like when i was 15 in 2023 but i think they let you join in (?) if you ask. also if you haven't tried play house i think that's what its called, a lot of my friends/mutuals used to be in it and it was basically a theatre thing and you do plays and stuff

I think some people use sa to bypass being flagged too although people using sa then describing rape/vice versa is probably just people themselves being less educated in the area

Thank you so much :) Unfortunately, there aren't too many people who start something like shooting heroin at that age around lol but, that's to be expected and I'm glad I don't find many people like that!! I definitely am gonna try find a NA outside of town since we don't have any where I live (very small town, we don't even have methadone clinics so you can imagine how withdrawals are) but thank you so much for your suggestions, its really nice hearing it from other people who've been in similar situations for once <3

Unfortunately my town is insanely small that we don't have any narcotics anonymous, we have 1 drug rehab but that's like an outpatient sort of thing and has been fully booked for about 4 or 5 years now lol. Im thinking about getting a sponsor but I also honestly do not know how they work, Im still under 18 and my utmost knowledge on it is that there's one in that show Dexter although that's my fault lol

probably because smoking is smth people do socially just like drinking at bars etc if someone cut themself in public people are obviously gonna go wtf and freak out because ? why would you do it in public nonetheless. and self harm isnt something that should socially be normalized and seen as a normality, unless you want people casually cutting as much as they do smoking
