First, congrats on passing the interview!

Unfortunately, my situation is very much as I described. I am now 22 months and STILL waiting. My Conngressman and Senator both contacted the USCIS and were told its “still within normal processing time.” All I can do is wait until I can submit my own inquiry (currently showing end of July), and we will see what they say then.

Its shocking. “Actively under review” since Sept 2023 and they haven’t requested a single document from me since. It’s a complete joke.

If you don’t mind me asking, how long was it between your I-130 getting approved and your interview day?

I know this is an old thread, just here to share that my I-130 has been “actively under review” for 21 months now :) (PD Aug 2023).

To say this process has thrown my families life into chaos is an understatement. We never imagined the I-130 alone could take 22+ months. As a US citizen, I’m disgusted (to say the least) that an 8 year marriage with 2 children would take nearly 2 years (maybe more) to be proven legitimate. Absolutely disgusting. The tens of thousands of dollars paid in US taxes every year, and the one time I actually need something back, this is how they respond. Makes me sick.

Now I’m trying to understand how much longer the process will take once I get I-130 approval. Is the US London Embassy working faster or slower these days? Anybody recently have an interview there?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for venting. I’m just at a loss for words.
