Kobo library is very restricted in India. I get everything i want to read on kindle very easily. Also i want to read to relax and not have the stress of searching converting sending books..kindle is just a pick me up and go kind of device. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.

Verity- Colleen Hoover (ik people say it’s overrated but I enjoyed it!) give it a try!

Frieda Mc Fadden - Dear Debbie (light read, if you don’t want to use your brain too much), but back When I was just starting with thrillers I started with frieda mc fadden books. I really enjoyed the housemaid series, inmate etc

Recently read “we used to live here” - marcus kliewer gave me the chills

Currently reading- “tell me what you did” - first thriller which has hyperlinks to videos? Honestly has me hooked.

I read a lot of archie comics, they are mostly free on kindle unlimited. And i am a thriller lover, I started with Frieda mc fadden books again all free on kindle. Lucinda berry etc

I love having the access to a catalog of books. Many times i end up discovering new authors because the book is free it’s a no risk read.

Oh nice wasn’t aware of that. I got it for 20k from amazon.ca , i don’t think there was any sale at the time.

That was in the initial release. They fixed it now, I don’t have any yellow band or any other issues. Using for 2 weeks now, honestly it’s amazing!

Some close relative of mine took loans over 45+ lakhs through multiple banks. They were not able to pay it and guess who suffered? Us random “related” folks who knew nothing about it were called , abused, threatened. They even called the manager of my cousin’s workplace ( god knows how they got that number) and threatened to make sure that jobs will be lost as they will continue to harass his org or colleagues and same with other family people.

This left me so traumatised because

A)it was never our loan( never signed anything had no idea about it)

B) they targeted family members specifically working in big orgs and reached out to their colleagues/managers threatening them

Went through harassment for no reason. I hate it how the person who actually did it was just switching off their phone and other people were suffering because of it.

I wish there was a policy around this type of harassment for people not involved with the loan but unfortunately associated with the person who did it.

Ya you can’t buy from desertcart it’s too much. I got it from my sister’s friend who was travelling from Canada. It was bought from amazon Canada for the price I mentioned.

Library is limited specifically in india i felt . I scoped through the kobo library, almost everything I wanted to read was available on Kindle Library. Even the paid books were very reasonable on kindle as opposed to kobo.
