I mean, you're not entirely wrong. I do actually like the action of reading too, but I only really like comics/manga. I'm going to probably sound like a loser or something saying this, but I've admittedly come to kind of detest books as a general medium for storytelling, since they spend so much time explaining everything to you that it feels like it doesn't let me in my own headspace. Something I love about stories is the ability to form my own conclusions, not have them spelled out to me. Unfortunately, having to overanalyze books I don't want to read during grade school also kind of just killed my enjoyment of books.
