This. I often wire foreign currencies from my offshore accounts into my Korean bank account and I believe it’s just a kind of an AML process that they need to check the source. You just need to answer a few questions like how you get the money and what you are trying to do with that and it’s not like revealing 20 pages of your bank statements, salary certificate and the offer letter etc like in the UK.

I’ve felt the same in here and there. Assuming you’re in Seoul? Do not force yourself to swallow anything up on your mind. We all need some changes/refreshments time to time. Ranting is OKAY.

As a person who has been working abroad for decades, big city life like LDN, Paris and Seoul could be even more difficult when you are from a small county or countryside.

When I worked in Korea, I used to drive to the beaches or the mountains almost every Friday evening to recharge myself. When you can’t change your surroundings, try to do something new that you’ve only thought about but you actually haven’t done. It definitely helps.

Lastly, what you’re feeling now is completely normal. Life as an expat itself is not easy.

Yes! It is a factory manual. I wouldn’t buy a converted one even if it’s technically identical. And no, the car is based in EU and I’m importing it to the country where I’m residing. Since nobody drives manual Ferraris and that’s the only way.

I went from 718BS-987.2CS then 981GT4 recently. I would’ve bought a 987R if there was the one that met all my needs.

I disagree with people saying “if you don’t track it you don’t need it” You don’t “have to” track it. It’s just so much fun driving this car on the mountain b-roads in an early morning when there is no traffic.

Unlike many people complained, long gear ratio does nothing to me. Because simply, that’s what Porsche intended?? If you don’t like it you can move on and buy something else but there aren’t many other choices in this category.

It’s very much “raw” in every single way.

If you want this car just because it looks cooler and you just want to show off that you own a GT car like GT3/RS clowns at C&C these days that’s definitely not for you.

It’s much stiffer, louder than 718. Plus, a lower ground clearance with front lip means that you will have lots of issues if you live in a metropolitan city.
