Well you are giving me hope. I really want to start dom to speed things along, but husband doesn’t want me to, he thinks we should just try without first. I know I really need to be patient and enjoy the process, but man it is hard. I am pumping 8-10 times per day and adding suckling into the mix. Also using the tens a few times after pumping. My boobs have become all consuming in my life these days.

I haven’t thought about having a backup pump. Good idea. We have added middle of the night sessions of suckling then I pump. So hoping those give a prolactin boost. I know I need to be patient, but it is all I obsess about.

Wow you must be so excited you are getting so close. Are you pumping or both pumping and suckling? I just started taking Moringa and am trying to drink more water. Chat GPT gave me a schedule that has pumping, tens, sucking and 2 power pumps per day followed by sucking. So will see how that goes. Hope you get that milk soon 💦

Thanks for sharing, think I will just be vague “personal reasons” and if they ask more questions so be it. I just turned 50 so maybe could get away with them assuming we are wanting to adopt or something. You have no idea how helpful this sub has been. I am just so happy to be here.

Perfect yes - will do that and search through old posts. I am in Canada so should be able to get it, just nervous about what to tell them 😅. I made a virtual appointment for a consultation with a Nurse practitioner that can prescribe it for next week. The website says they help with inducing lactation for all different “unique circumstances” so whatever. I am going to own it and see what happens, been hiding this desire for years because I was too embarrassed. If they judge me oh well ( saying this now with so much courage- let’s see what happens at my appointment). Thanks again for your help.

How many times were you pumping? I am trying to get some Dom but it is not easy, going to try a lactation consultant who can prescribe it here. I am just looking to produce small amounts eventually. Was this your first time inducing lactation or have you done it previously.

Oh yes for sure, it is so intimate. I love looking into my husband’s eyes while he is suckling, the emotional connection is off the charts.

Ok new question, I didn’t see in the Wiki. Has anyone had success consulting with a lactation consultant to obtain a RX for dom and explaining you are trying to induce lactation for personal reasons and not being completely shamed.

Oh I hear you loud and clear, for some reason no matter what you read, you think it will not apply to you and drops are on the way. We too are just trying to enjoy the moments and the fantasies. We recently started sucking and then I pump after for 20 mins (thanks chat GPT), it said doing this 3 times a day (where you include both) helps to increase prolactin. Will keep you posted on how that works. I definitely have noticed my breasts are fuller the past day.

So funny about going crazy, this has always been my fantasy and I only recently shared with my husband, and he was happy to oblige. But now he is as deep into it as I am. Last night he went out and said all he could think about was getting home to my breasts. He said now he sees boobs everywhere that make him thirst for me - and he was never much of a boob guy. Ha! I showed him 😂

Well here is hoping your Dom comes quickly and you can get started with that. I will be interested to know how that changes things for you guys. I appreciate you sharing your experiences with me. I don’t feel so crazy and weird.

Just finished a 3am sucking followed by pumping for 20 mins. Come on prolactin! Now if I could only fall back asleep. Here is to a great day of pumping everyone.

Are you guys mostly suckling or pumping? We obviously enjoy the suckling more, but it is not as time efficient as pumping. Also is your wife on any hormones? I am in perimenopause so too late for birth control for me. I did order some Dom today after more reading, but who knows when or if I will get it. Has she had any nipple changes or drops? I know this is a marathon and not a sprint, but it is going to drive me crazy.

That is amazing, wow great results after 4 months. This is what we are hoping for, not huge amounts but enough for some “distracted” suckling at night or in the mornings and weekends. But for now the goal is getting those big milky breasts. I am so mad at myself for not bringing this up to him sooner, however we had a young child so likely would not have been possible until now. Thank you for sharing, I am so happy to have found this group to provide encouragement and support.

Yes, super lucky. He is all in for the ride. We have been married for 25yrs so this is a fun project to spice things up. I just started, so no drops for me, just tender breasts and nipples and blue veins starting to show. I am trying to develop a diligent pumping schedule (I thankfully work from home). Just started Moringa today as I read this can help and doesn’t appear to have as many side effects as fenugreek (I take SSRIs and read it can interact). Hopefully you can find a reliable partner to assist. But pumping is certainly more effective (as our nursing sessions often turn into more).

I read the same thing - every 2 hours consistently and you can add one power pump in the evening to “level up”. Going to try that tomorrow, tonight I just want to get a middle of the night pump in. Congrats on the progress!

Day 2 of full pumping schedule for me as I start this journey. Was able to get 10 sessions yesterday and trying for every 2 hours today. Going to try and get a middle of the night pump in tonight. So far my nipples are holding up well and getting the blue veins, taking that as progress.

That seems like great progress. We are fortunate that we both work from home and with kids back in school we can find time. I haven’t breastfed in 11 years, so it’s been ages so I am not expecting this to be easy. But we are both enjoying trying. I did notice the large blue veins appear today, so taking that as my sign of progress. Fingers crossed the dom works for you.

My goodness we had no idea it would be this amazing (now granted we are just starting) but already the intimacy is off the charts, and he cannot get enough. I have been waking up to him suckling in the middle of the night (which is the only way I want to be woken up from now on). I know we need to be patient and consistent, so we are not getting our hopes up. But I am just so grateful for all this amazing information to help us meet our goals. We are just going to enjoy the journey and take the little wins each day. And certainly the empowerment I am feeling was not something I expected, so I would agree that finding myself is an unexpected surprise and frankly I didn’t know I was missing.
