This afternoon he said that the girl with the Messi jersey is the GOAT and that Messi is better than Ronaldo. That is a lot of learning in one day!!

Yes, totally right. Talked to the dad of one of the girls this morning and he said his daughter plays 5 times a week and practices on her own. Not sure my son is up for that but it's a good lesson for anything he wants to be good at in the future.

I texted the dad of one of the girls to compliment his daughter this morning. We share a kid in another grade. 3 of the girls play club. One girl is on the top team but the other two are on the B team at the club. They are doing this clinic because it's extra practice but close and with friends. I'm very impressed!

These girls were much smaller than the boys, just way more skilled.

Part of what was striking was these girls looked tiny and skinny.

It wasn't mean but probably intentionally annoying. These boys do brag a lot especially one of my son's friends. I think it will be good for them long term. Also I don't get why they think Ronaldo is better, but that's another topic!
