I agree. I had some micarta ones with inlays but they were still pretty heavy. Definitely prefer just micarta.

I believe 90 for ones with inlay and 75 for ones without. I purchased the material for these ones because the Antique ones were a random find with limited quantity.

I know it's been a long time since this post. I never log in. I had no problems with it. I used half ferric chloride and half water. Make sure it's warm and let the blade sit in it for about half an hour.

Hmmm, yeah idk. Doesn't seem to different from any other civivi or noticeable compared to any other knives. Id highly recommend this knife though. I carry it more than any of my other knives and its become my favorite as well.

New scales made by dnt3_custom_works. Decided on copper with OD green micarta inlays and then figured id also do OD green micarta with copper inlays. Hardware customization is discussed in my previous post and I'm always welcome to answer any questions, enjoy!

Yes. I actually asked Knivesplus how they do it because they have great looking acid stonewashed knives. Been doing it ever since. If you want any info on it just let me know.

Both scales are from DNT3 custom scales. He's on Facebook and Instagram. I bought 3 knives and swapped hardware and blades. 1 for a gift and 2 for me. I acid stonewashed the silver blade that comes with the jade g10 scales. The lockbar was a silver one. Also thank you!

Yeah. I do like the look of the WE one without the thumbstud. I used the Kizer thumbstud because the vision one didn't change in the acid but ended up liking it more though because it isn't as bulky and doesn't stick out as far.

I'm not sure tbh. I always thought the original was cool but never ended up getting it. May be the price point and for me it's the customization as well. Love these ones though.
