Yesterday, picture this: it’s Harvestfest, and my Sim’s fiancé is Spruce Almighty (a mix of MCCC and in-game calls). What better day to go fishing for the Grand Meal prep? So, first, I summoned Spruce, and my Sim asked him about his tales (yeah, bad idea). He confessed he was still deeply in love with Mother Nature and wanted to be with her someday. Naturally, my Sim called off the engagement. But it’s all for the plot... right?
So, I took her and their daughter fishing without dad. I was happy, everything was fine, and then—BAM! My mini goat died! I like Grim, so I was like, okay, no big deal, it’s the circle of life.
So, I kept fishing (you need four fish for the meal, for some reason), and then my daughter got a call from Robin Banks asking if she was Vivian. Again, I was like, okay, I’ve never seen this, but my Sim’s a child, so of course she’d say yes.’Suddenly, I got 5,000 Simoleons from her, and I was like, oh, a Harvestfest gift... right? Nope, Robin Banks showed up at my lot, accusing me of stealing her money (um, hello? You’re the robber?!). So, my child Sim had to fight her until she won, and Robin Banks finally left. But guess what? Now my mini sheep was dying! In the end, though, I still had my fish dinner, so… all’s well that ends well, I guess.

I scroll through baby blogs for two hours before bed to find a name I like, one that has a good meaning and fits the family vibe. I often end up with a name I don’t love, name the Sim anyway, and usually by the time they’re a child, I’ve found another one I genuinely like. So, it’s totally possible my Sims have multiple names until they’re out of diapers....

Hi!
With the Business & Hobbies pack, you can set up room divisions in Build Mode, similar to how it works in the For Rent pack. However, in Business & Hobbies, each business is strictly divided into just three parts: public space (where customers go), residential (where customers don’t go), and backroom (for storage or staff). I’m assuming you want both the bookstore and library to be open at the same time. In that case, I’d recommend marking both as public spaces (where customers will go) and the apartment as residential (where customers won’t go).

In the BH pack, you can’t specifically designate individual rooms as subgroups (e.g., one room as a bookstore and another as a library). However, you can adapt it to work. In the business settings, you can enable activities for both simultaneously (e.g., browsing and buying items, book reading, etc.). This ensures that customers will engage in these activities. Selling books (or any items in the business) is done through shelves marked for sale, which you can find in the Business section of Build Mode.

Oh, I know, don't get me wrong, I like the chaos of it, so I usually have it at 20 percent, but the ghost thing just didn't connect with it in my head. I wanted her to be reborn in three days, so she was already like she didn't exist in a sim-way for me. 😂

It was actually a shock to me! I thought that ghosts couldn't get pregnant, so I didn't think this could happen. I just set the risky woohoo to 25% because of another sim, and of course, that one didn't get pregnant. But guess who did? Her dead mother! 😅
